summary:
as we know s8 ended with sam in a bad condition due to trials effect.so s9 starts from sam being in hospital and dean trying to call any angel to help(he called cass too but cass was angel no more till then) so one ezekeil came but he needed to posess sam to heal him and dean tricked him to say YES for the angel to possess sam then eze was in sam and they both started healing but soon ezekeil took over sam and to be on metatron side,killed kevin being in sam meatsuit(nobody knew about eze posessing sam xcept dean not even cass).cass started living like a human but soon he stole grace to save heaven from metatron😃.sam soon came to know about what happened to him but it was too late.with help of crowley,sam was able to eject ezekel from his body but some of his grace was left inside him.a fyt happened between winchesters where sam was angry on dean and dean said to sam-u wud have done the same for me if situation were similarbut sam denied that he wudnt have done the same😭(he was angry n lashed out to hurt him with his words).bt this has a bad effect on dean and he with push by crowley,agreed to have mark of cain😲.but
crowley ddint told him mark of cain full story.sam blood effected croweley so he started feeling human emotions and started to think dean on his side due to their growing companionship😲.sam n dean started havig disagreements alot and the mark started showing it sideeffects making dean mor cold to human emotions with each episode😲.dean n sam found blade and with crowley ka partnership dean killed abadon ruthlessly stabbing her to death😲.then sam started acknowledging the fact that dean is changing but dean ddimt listen to himand dean started a mission to kill metatron.but metatron stabbed dean😭 😭 😭 and sam watched hi dying n briught his body home.he was guiltrideen and wanted to exchange his soul for dean but then crowley showed in bunker where dean was lyung lifeless and he put cain blade in dean hands n he opened his eyes which were pure black🤢 coz crowley iddint mention that cain mark never lets u die😲.oon other side eze gives his life to save cass so that he can protect heaven from metatrron coz eze got to know true colors of meta⭐️ and cass made meta to do a confession which was heard by all angels n they put meta in haeven prison👏 but before that meta told cass that he did all thiis not for humanity but for one human i.e dean😉 but casss was felling weaker coz he doesnt have his own grace n the stolen grace was deplting from his body

coz dean has his own demons😲his self depriciating thots about himself r bad deep down he considers himself to be no less than a demon remember in s3/4 there was an epi wheer dean dreamt of demondean and that deanmon said that this is who u r😲and deep down u know u r a demon
