Good job by ATS team..  Though they cannot stop the public get killed, they had reduced the numbers to their level best.. 

This is the reality .. U wrote it well..

The family's Emotions were quite obvious.. Suraj and Rukshana has more confidence to face such situations..

Fahim heard a movement towards his right and he fired. He heard a voice and at the same time another bullet pierced his right shoulder. Fahim suppressed the pain as Sandhya fired back covering him.

 

They moved silently again and Sandhya's wireless crackled. She heard Natasha's voice " Bhabi wherever you are understand you are surrounded. Just keep on the line you are taking. No deviations"

 

Sandhya held Fahim's hand and draw a circle on it. Fahim pressed her hand back telling he understood and they kept the line. As they kept firing back and forth Sandhya knew things were not good. Fahim has been injured and he was bleeding. She didn't know how long he will be able to sustain. Just a shift of focus she felt a shell piercing her left leg. With great difficulty Sandhya muffled her cry. Now both officers were bleeding. Fahim indicated in Sandhya's hand that the door to bridge is on the left. He will open it and she will have to cover him up.

 

Code 10 knew that the door was on the left and the ATS was moving towards the door. He didn't want them to open that door. He indicated the team to move towards left.

 

Sandhya and Fahim knew the cover of darkness was reducing. They had very less time to open the door. And Fahim knew he had to do in one shot. Sandhya started deceptive firing. Code 10 was confused. ATS was supposed to be near the door, but the fire was coming from right. He indicated replanning and as the terrorist moved away from near the door, Fahim pushed open the door with all might propelling him and Sandhya outside.

 

As the adjusted to the light the terrorists also came out. When they fired Sandhya and Fahim ducked and fired back the terrorists ducked. Soon Sandhya and Fahim standing shoulder to shoulder in the centre with their guns drawn and 3 terrorists surrounding them. They started circling each looking for a oppourtunity to fire at other.

 

Family looked in horror as they watched the TV. Reporter was telling " Here now we see Fahim Ansari and Sandhya Rathi on the bridge with 3 terrorists surrounding. It seems they have been successful in killing 3 terrorists. We cannot get a more nearer view but by the look of it, it feels both Fahim and Sandhya are injured"

 

Even from distance Ruksana could see that Fahim white kurta was blood soaked on right side and he was bleeding. She felt weak. How long her Fahim had been bleeding. Before she knew Ruksana fainted in Emily's arms.

 

Sooraj was holding his tears. He could see Sandhya's saree below knee was blood soaked. Her pallu had teared. Mithu and Mridu started crying as if they felt something was wrong. Indira Aunty took the babies " Mithu, Mridu why what happened, See your mama will bring big trophy for my darlings" she patted them, but they continued to cry

 

Pari and Kanha also started crying telling why is Taisa having gun. Bhabo looked at the life and death situation her beendini is facing. Babasa started praying. To diffuse the tension Mohit asked Susheel Uncle to put a bhajan. Soon the hall was filled with the song "Govind bolo hare, Gopal Bolo" and everyone started chanting the name of Krishna still staring at the TV.

 

Fahim and Sandhya knew they had only once chance. Both eyed each other and they understood what the other was telling. Sandhya and Fahim turned at the same time. Sandhya turning the neck of the terrorist in front of her and Fahim doing the same for the one in front of him, before Code 10 knew what was happening as he turned the neck of the second terrorist with the completely injured right hand Fahim fired straight at code 10 killing him instantly.

 

Both Fahim and Sandhya sat down as the medicos rushed to take the officers from the bridge

Both are injured but still didnt care abt that nd fought bravely  👏

Atlast all things got over nd peace s back in that area 😃

" Bhabo Indira Aunty is alone and also all kids are here. You and Babasa be here. We will call you. Don't worry Sandhya will be alright"

 

Babasa too asked Bhabo to step back. Bhabo agreed. They all got in Sooraj's car. Ruksana sat alongside Sooraj while Vik, Mohit and Emily got at the backside.

 

" Ruksana please be calm, everything will be fine.See you have a life inside you. Your health can affect the baby." said Sooraj

 

" Ruksana Bhabi have some juice atleast now. Seems Fahim Bhaiyya will be fine. Else you will go weak" Emily gave the juice bottle in Ruksana's hand

 

Ruksana knew Sooraj and Emily were right. She took the juice bottle from Emily's hand and slowly started sipping juice.

When they reached the hospital they saw big crowd in front of it. They could see the posters of Fahim and Sandhya and people hailing the ATS team. Media was in full swing and the police was having a hard time controlling the crowd.

 

When Karan saw Sooraj and Ruksana he immediately waded through the crowd and asked them to follow him. Natasha was talking to media. Suddenly someone in the crowd told it is Sooraj Rathi Sandhya's husband and Ruksana Meher Fahim's wife. Crowd turned towards them.

 

One old woman pushed through the crowd and took Ruksana's hand " Beti I will pray to God that tera Suhaag amar rahe or teri godh kabhi sooni na ho" Ruksana felt tears in her eyes. She knew it was the most sincere prayer. She thanked the old woman.

 

Some men hugged Sooraj and told that for whatever his wife has done let his family be blessed with all the happiness in the world. For saving so many children their children be always safe.

 

With so many wishes and feeling overwhelmed Ruksana and Sooraj entered the hospital ward.

 

Karan took them to the doctor. Sooraj introduced himself and asked doctor about the status

 

" Sooraj Rathi surgery is going on for Fahim and Sandhya. Fahim has suffered serious blood loss. His palm might need skin grafting as the shell has destroyed more or less of the palm. There was a bullet in his right shoulder. Though he is serious since his blood group is O+ we have been able to compensate the blood loss and so we expect him to recover

 

 

We have one more officer Manjunath whose condition is very critical as he was shot on the stomach and the bullet just missed his heart. We are trying our best to save him. For the time being you will have to wait till surgeries are completed"

 

 

TV was still on Susheel Uncle's house with media praising the ATS team and in every channel Fahim and Sandhya hailed as the brave children of Mother India. It was then that the anchor in ANZ Channel Spoke. On the side Fahim shooting code 10 with his injured right hand was shown. The anchor spoke " Fahim Ansari has been completely injured in his right palm that as per the latest report requires Skin grafting and moreover a bullet was lodged in his right shoulder. He has suffered severe blood loss. Under this extreme circumstances, with intense pain Fahim Ansari has fought like a soldier and with the same injured hand he has shot a terrorist that too point blank on head. You might be thinking why I am highlighting this.

I would prefer the nation to join us in apologizing to Fahim and Sandhya for doing character assassination of their friendship for more than a year. Today let us hail them and be proud that we have them amongst us because of whom today we have been able to give a major blow to elements that are waging proxy war against our country"

 

Bhabo sat on the sofa tears rolling down her cheeks. Was it for an allegation that held no water she asked her beendini to go from her son's life. How couldn't he trust her beendini. How couldn't she know Sandhya only loved Sooraj. Wasn't her duty to stand by her beendini when the world made fun of her. Shouldn't she have told the world that she trust her beendini whatever the world say. Did she needed this anchor to know that Sandhya was chaste. Bhabo sighed. Babasa kept a hand on her shoulder as if signaling it is fine. It was time to move on.

" Why Ruksana Bhabi why newspaper suddenly now" they were all watching TV in hospital visting area were now almost all channels were apologizing to Fahim and Sandhya.

 

" Mohit Fahim had carried the biggest burden in his heart for over an year. He had always blamed his desire to make his team first the reason for the allegation. When he opens his eyes today I want to him to see the news. I want him to know the nation is apologizing to both of them for misunderstanding their friendship. This is the best gift for him. Please could you bring"

 

" Surely Bhabi I will bring" Mohit rushed outside.

 

Fahim opened his eyes gingerly. His right hand felt numb. In front of him he was seeing some letters. Nothing was clear " Ruksana" he called out

 

" I am here Fahim. But you see this first" she held the newspaper closer to him. Fahim adjusted his eyes. He read the lines " Accept our apology Fahim Ansari and Sandhya Rathi". As he read the lines Fahim was crying. Was he seeing the truth. Had media really apologized for what they have done. He looked up. Ruksana sat beside him and held him. He cried uncontrollably in her lap.

 

" Fahim it's all over. Everything. And Sandhya is also doing good" said Ruksana. As she said that Sooraj bought Sandhya in the wheelchair to Fahim's room. Sandhya had gained conscious before and after reading the news she was insisting she should visit Fahim.

 

She too was crying. Fahim looked at her and the 2 friends smiled at each other wholeheartedly. Everyone was feeling happy.

 

" Fahim and Sandhya didn't I tell you one day people will know the truth. Just imagine for this stupid allegation you both had stopped talking. What would have happened to the country" said Sooraj

 

" Actually we have to thank both of you, Sooraj and Ruksana for standing by us so strongly. I don't we would have made it without your support " said Fahim

 

" Yes Fahim if we made it today it because of Soorajji and Ruksana only" echoed Sandhya

 

"Now now everyone this calls for celebration" said Vikram distributing ladoo to everyone

 

It was then Natasha rushed in. Her face looked tense.

 

" Fahim, Sandhya Bhabi Manjunath has survived but .."

 

" But what Natasha " asked Sandhya in a worried tone

 

" Bhabi it seems his left side is paralyzed. Needs a lot of treatment. You know right, Manju hails from a lower middle class family"

 

" Let us speak to the doctor" it was Fahim's father who spoke. " The boy was exceptional and his bravery needs to be applauded. Whatever cost the treatment takes to cure him our family will bear it"

 

Fahim looked at his dad in gratitude. His parents had always supported him and his ambition to serve the nation. Over the years because of him they have also become philanthropic setting up a foundation in his grand father's name. Now he understood it was with the foundation dad was going to help Manju.

Fahim's dad went out and spoke to Manju's parents and assured them that he had spoken to the doctor and all medical and lodging expense of Manju for treatment will be taken care of by their foundation.

 

Then came Naresh sir. He handed over bouquets to both Sandhya and Fahim and told that department has given both of them 1 month off considering the injuries and further treatment needed. He asked them to take rest and come back fully equipped to handle new case.

 

" Sir give me traffic department for a change" joked Fahim " I guess I can also be there sir" chimed in Sandhya.

 

Naresh Sir looked at both of them " Request has come to me to send you both to RAW on deputation and you are asking traffic department" they all burst into laugh.
