They were able to score 61 runs in the session but have lost 5 wickets. Steyn removed Vermeulen soon after lunch. Immediately in the next over Sibanda fell to Piedt. Taylor could not add much to the score either and ended up giving Piedt his 7th wicket of the game. Chakabva and Williams fell not long after.

Zimbabwe could have collapsed to an innings defeat but this stand of 17 means SA will bat again.

Zim have scored 21 in the first 2 overs after tea. Steyn takes over after an experimental first over from JPD. Steyn has two slips to back him up.

End of a fighting effort from the Zim keeper.
This was Mutumbami's highest test score. Good to get it against the No.1 ranked Team under testing conditions and facing the some of the most fearsome pacers

South Africa won, as expceted, but a lot of positives to take for Zimbabwe. They resisted with a lot of grit for three days. Once they opted to bat, they were taken past 250 with Taylor's 93. Their bowlers, led by debutant Nyumbu, were very discplined, including Chatara and Panyangara but it was hard to not let SA take a lead.

For the visitors, Dane Piedt was the biggest positive. The offie snapped up 8 wickets, the most by a South African spinner on debut.
