Written Update CID: Azaadi Ki Jung II

The episode begins from where is stopped on Saturday.Mehak enters the place they are hiding in the train and is shocked to see Ved being beaten by the people who were behind the two. Mehak is pushed to the door handle and she hangs stranded there while Ved is trying to save her while trying to fight them away too. Finally Ved succeeds in throwing one man out of the train and rushes and saves Mehak who is apparently in a horrified state.
In the bureau, one official is telling Purvi that stopping the parade at the close of its beginning was next to impossible. Purvi tries to persuade them and after seeing that the route of the parade was via the Gateway of India, she fears the death of 1000's of people and asks them to stop it. But the man insists that it is impossible. Dushyant says that there is only one way left.
Here in the train, our duo, Shreya and Nikhil are searching for Ved and Mehak. Sachin, Kavin and others in a car are discussing that somehow the two have to be stopped. Kavin says that their senior are up there searching for them. The people who are following Ved and Mehak here in the train catch up with them and Ved and Mehak are beaten up in order to get the chip. But they deny knowing anything.
The CID team reaches the same place and then the people gathered around the area say that they had seen people following a couple. Seeing the door bolted on the other side, Daya sir breaks open the glass with his hand tied with a handkerchief and opens the door. They go inside and are shocked to see the couple beating up with their hearts still beating. Abhi sir asks Nikhil to inform Kavin to call an ambulance at the next station.
Kavin receives the information and asks Divya to call for the ambulance at the next station.
Here the team members take Mehak and Ved on a stretcher and as they go out Mehak tells them that she doesn't know anything about any plan. She says that once the goons had begun to attack on them she had told the place where the chip was hidden. She tells that the chip is hidden in the toy of a boy who was seated in Seat no: 11 of coach no: 7. Seeing the train ready to leave, the cops run and get into the train.
They reach the place told by Mehak and ask for the boy named Vijay. His parents say that he has gone to the washroom with his uncle taking his black toy with him. In the washroom we see, the uncle being beaten up as the boy refused to answer the goons. They beat him up badly and they leave with Vijay.
In the ambulance, Ved and Mehak tell them whatever happened thoroughly denying to have killed Soumya. Ved also says that when he had gone to Soumya's house a couple of days back, he had heard her father talking about some attack but Soumya had refused to believe him. Then Mehak supported him. They had found that the lab's owner Iravati had hid all the information in a chip and secured it in the lab. Ved says that he had almost demolished the entire lab to find the chip but in vain. But when Iravati had brought a present (or something like that) he had doubted it and he was able to lay his hands on the chip. When they were showing it to Soumya (or Sonia), they were seen by her dad and were caught but somehow managed to escape. Mehak says that he uncle was a lawyer in Delhi and that he had called him there and so they were heading to Delhi.
When duo come to the place, they find Vijay's uncle badly injured and he tells that the goons had taken him along with the toy. Daya sir promises them to bring Vijay back safely.
Sachin sir is asking Ved to recollect what he knew. Ved says that the men were talking about a boat. Sachin sir doubts that the attack may be elsewhere and not the parade. But he is puzzled about the boat.
Dushyant, Freddy sir, Purvi and others come to the top of a building to get the whole view of the sea. Just then they get a call informing them about a boat. They are puzzled too. Dushyant says that there is only one way to find out and that was to check up each and every boat. Freddy sir says that the task would be too difficult within the 30 mins they have. But Dushyant says, it is not impossible.
In the train, the goons are carrying Vijay pushing aside anyone who came to stop them. The leader looking guy asks Vijay to hand over whatever he had but the boy says he has nothing. This goes on. The men are staying guard lest anyone should get up and inform someone. The 4 cops had reached the place by then. Nikhil lifts his gun but Abhijeet sir asks him to put it down as passengers were there. Abhijeet sir tries to stop the train but it doesn't. It leads them to the conclusion that the driver too might be in the goons' control. After much argument, Abhijeet sir decides to go to the engine room via outside and he sets out on his task and goes window by window. Shreya asks Daya sir why he didn't stop Abhi sir and why he had let him take this perilous task given that Abhi sir was very special to Daya sir. Daya sir nods and says that it was Abhijeet who didn't listen to his words. Nikhil creeps into the compartment and he is noticed and the goon fires a shot at him and the bullet hits his shoulder and he goes reeling backward. Daya sir asks Shreya and Nikhil to try and find the chip and he goes up the train to reach the engine room. Here the boy continues to tell the same thing and at one point the head goon gets pissed and throws him off the train and Daya sir manages to catch him just on time. The former appreciates the boy for being brave.
We see Vijay with Shreya and Nikhil. Vijay says that once he had heard the goons coming he had hid the chip underneath the washbasin. Shreya pats his head for being brave and they two move off to find the chip.
By this time, Daya sir had reached the goon's compartment and Abhijeet sir had reached the engine room. A massive fight takes place in which the goon's side are pathetically defeated in the hands of CID duo who were later lent hands by Shreya and Nikhil. The train stops and Shreya runs to duo saying that Nikhil was coming with the chip.They insert the chip and as they see the information, the head goon takes good aim at Daya with his gun. Abhijeet sir seeing this comes forward and the bullet lodges into his right abdomen. He looks at Daya, who is filled with guilt on seeing his best friend, and smiles and assures him that till he breathed the last, no bullet could reach him. Daya sir ushers him to the hospital but he refuses to go and goes ahead to solve the case.
The 4 cops reach a place and Abhijeet sir, still suffering asks them to look for the boat but Shreya keeps insisting him to go to the hospital. Suddenly a bullet shot is heard and a mass shootout takes place during which all the bullets are exhausted. They fight bare-handed and as the last goon was to be taken down by Shreya, a boisterous laughter takes the four cops by surprise as the man was none other than Soumya's (or Sonia"s) father, Deepak. As Deepak points his gun at the 4, ACP sir fires a shot in his hand and appears there.
Dushyant, Purvi and others are trying to locate any enigmatic boat in the sea while Purvi is trying to operate some machine. The process goes on.
Deepak tells them that it was his plan to bombard the entire Gateway of India and that the boat had already left the place and would be reaching the shore. He also tells that it was remote controlled. The team is shocked and they snatch the remote from him.
Dushyant locates the boat.
The team is taking on each of Deepak's men and the remote reaches Daya sir's hands. Abhijeet sir calls Purvi and alerts her about the boat and she says that they too had located the boat. The 4 try to coax the truth out of him.
Here Dushyant sanguinely presses a button but it fails. The team panics. We then see the Independence Day parade going on. Dushyant, with one last hope and fear in his eyes for the country, presses another button and the boat explodes instantly telling them that they had succeeded.
Abhijeet sir receives the call informing him the good news and Deepak almost starts to wail at the failure of his plans. Daya sir slaps him. Deepak says that he had wanted to become powerful both by money and terror. ACP sir says that for want of money he had betrayed his own country and he delivers the phaansi dialogue. The 3 are taken away leaving trio and Shreya.
Daya sir comes forward and says that wants to apologize to Abhijeet sir and ACP sir asks him to do it. Daya sir says a whole-hearted sorry and tells that it was his mistake to not have understood Abhijeet sir properly. Abhijeet sir says that there was no need of asking sorry as he never took any of Daya's words to his heart. But Daya sir asks why he had decided to take transfer to which Abhijeet sir has no words to answer. ACP sir says that there was no transfer for anyone up there and that it was cancelled. Abhijeet sir casts a thankful and a most elated look at ACP sir and then smiles looking at Daya sir who also smiles back at him. The episode ends on a positive note with our duo shaking hands with each other.
Author's note: A very good case with good investigation scenes and moreover watch this episode just to see the rejuvenation of the divine friendship between our duo and also for the heavenly climax where our trio is present. The climax scene has a charm which can be felt only when you watch the episode and feel the heaven descend while seeing the fatherly figure of ACP sir and the reunion of our duo!
