Chapter 10

That whole day Raghu was frustrated in the office. Antara noticed he didn't eat at lunch time. "Kiya huwa bhaai kuch problem hai Kiya? Machmach asked. " problem nai bas bhook nai hai mujhey. Raghu said.Antara was feeling bad that he wasn't eating but she didn't know the cause of his anger and frustration. "Sagaai ka date change kardiya gaya hai that's why he must be upset. Ruksana told machmach. " arey nai yaar bhaai toh wayse bhi Arti se shaadi nai Karna chahta. Machmach said. Antara's eyes widened. "Kahi iss ka kaaran may toh nai hun? Antara thought. That evening after finishing work Antara left to catch a bus to home . Raghu stopped his car in front of her and got out. Antara gulped as he looked really pissed off." Kitni baar tumsey kahu ki bus se mat jaaye Karo!" Tumey Hindi samajh nai aati?"kiss language me samjhao tumey? "Chal baith gaadi me! Raghu was spitting fire and the reason was Arti. Antara trembled at his deep husky voice. " may...may bus se chali...Antara couldn't finish what she was saying when Raghu caught her wrist and dragged her to the car! "Raghu mera haanth choro!" You are hurting me! Antara winced in pain as Raghu's grip was powerful and too much to bear. Opening the front door Raghu made her to sit inside. Pouting... Frowning and rubbing her wrist Antara sat there. Getting behind the wheel Raghu drove towards naik residence. All the way they maintained silence. Reaching home Antara got out and hurried towards the outhouse. Raghu rested his head on the steering wheel to calm his anger and relax a bit. Grabbing his files and stuffs he came inside the house. Throwing his files on his bed he came out in the terrace. "Kisi aur ka gussa mayney Antara par utaar diya. He said while ruffling his hair in frustration. He went to see his grannies." Agaya beta?"aa idhar aa humarey pass baith. Daadi said. Raghu went and rested his head on daadi's lap. The grannies caressed him lovingly. Arti entered with his black coffee. "Nai chahiye mujhey. Raghu said." Arey pilo na beta. Nani said while winking at Daadi. Daadi took the cup from Arti's hand and handed it to Raghu. Forcefully Raghu took a sip. He almost puked at the taste! "Ye koi coffee hai?" Tumhi pilo issey! Raghu put the cup on the nights stand and left towards his room. "Ye Kiya hai arti puttar? " tu ek coffee nai bana sakti? "I don't think you are a good candidate for the bahu of naik khandan. Nani said. Making a face Arti left. The grannies were in for a high five. It was dinner time...Raghu came down with his grannies. " the real fun begins now! Daadi whispered to nani. Arti was a mess while serving dinner. The trio just stared at the food with widened eyes! The food was burned! Daadi picked a roti up high. "Arti beta ye Kiya hai?" Koi nai dish hai Kiya? Daadi asked mockingly. "Beta we don't eat burned food. Nani said. Raghu pushed the plate in frustration!"" Ye khana Issi ko khila doh Daadi!" Mujhey nai khana! Getting up he headed towards the outhouse. Grannies knew where he was going. "Mujhsey nai hoga ye sab! Arti said while stomping her foot and running to her room. " ye toh shuruwat hai...agay agay dekho hota hai Kiya! Daadi said. Meanwhile Raghu arrived at the outhouse and knocked on the door. Antara hurriedly opened the door thinking it was the grannies. But she found Raghu standing there with a fallen face and looked tired."Kiya huwa Raghu? "Sab theek hai na? She asked worriedly." Kiya may andar as jaau? Asked Raghu. Antara moved aside as Raghu entered in side. Closing the door Antara came and stood by Raghu who seemed very tired and exhausted. "Tum theek ho? Asked antara. Raghu told her whatever happened in the naik residence some minutes ago. " that means Daadi and nani are both hungry?"'Lekin unn dono ko kHaney ke saath medicine Lena hota hai na? Antara said worriedly. "Tum yahi ruko may abhi aati hun. Antara said to Raghu and hurried towards the door." Antara!! Raghu called behind her but she was already outside heading towards the naik house. Deepak the servant opened the door. "Mujhey Daadi aur nani se milna hai.Antara said to the servant. " aaiye. The servant said. Antara ran upstairs to the grannies room."Daadi! Nani!! Antara called. The grannies were finally happy! They opened their arms for her as Antara ran in their embrace. "Humey patah thaa ki tu hum logo ko akela nai choregi. Daadi said with tears." Meri pyaari Daadi abh emotional hona bandh Karo aur Chalo merey saath. Antara said. The grannies loved her company so they quickly agreed to go with her. Antara grabbed their medicine and took them to outhouse with her. Raghu was overwhelmed to see his grannies there. He felt really proud of Antara for what she was doing for them. "Aap log baithye may abhi dinner bana deti hun. Antara said. The grannies blessed Antara lovingly and sat down to watch "My wife and kids" soon the house echoed with grannies laughter! Raghu smiled and left quietly to the kitchen. With his hands in his pockets he drooled over Antara who was all over the kitchen. Her hair strands were caressing her cheeks...disturbing her. She kept on pushing them back but it kept on teasing her cheeks. Raghu was going crazy just by looking at her. Raghu neared her. Antara turned around to face him when she heard footsteps. "Tum? Antara somehow managed to say . He gently tucked her locks behind her ears ..his touch on her skin almost gave her heart attack! " thank you for everything that you are doing for us. He said. "Its ok. Antara said and got busy with stirring the curry. " tum mujhey ghoorney ke alawa aur kuch aur nai kar saktey?asked antara while getting a bit embarrassed. "May kaha ghoor raha hu tumey. Replied Raghu while quickly shifting his gaze from her. The grannies were sneaking up on them from the door. Rantara were very much unaware of their presence. " ghoorna bandh Karo tum aur Chalo salad banao! Antara commanded. "'Lekin yaar mujhey salad banana nai aatah! Raghu said." Idhar aao may sikhati hu. Antara said. She showed him how to make salad and the dressing to use. Raghu just drooled over her face. "Muh mat dekho yaha dekho! Antara scolded him. " Han dekh toh raha hu may. Raghu replied. "Hayee... Kiya Jodi hai yaar!" Inka rishta toh heavenly made hai re. Daadi said. "Raghu toh diwaana ho chuka hai Antara ke pyaar me...dekho dekho kis tarah Antara ko ghoor raha hai...lagay raho baccha humara ashirwad Tumarey saath hai! Nani said. Raghu was cutting the vegetables as told by Antara when he felt a severe headache. He rubbed his temple and hissed in pain. Antara heard him hissing so she twitched her head to see. Her expression changed instantly! " Raghu!!"Kiya huwa tumey? She asked worriedly. "Kuch nai bass tori takhan ke kaaran sar me dard hai. Raghu said. " toh tumney pahelay kiyu nai bataya?"rayno do ye sab tum Chalo merey saath! Antara said while grabbing his hand. Raghu was excited seeing her concern for him. Like a little child he followed her to her bedroom. The grannies also tiptoed behind them. "Tum baitho may tel laga kar maalish kar deti hun. Antara said while grabbing the bottle of hair oil. Raghu obeyed her quietly. He sat down on the floor in front of the bed. Antara sat on the bed and massaged his scalp. " I think I'm flying in excitement! Daadi whispered. "Don't fly too high...gir jaaogi !Nani whispered back. Raghu closed his eyes and enjoyed her soft hands on him. " aaj din bhar tumney kuch khaya bhi nai aur upar se kaam ka load...why don't you take a break for few days? Antara said. "Hayee...kitna worried hai Raghu ko lekar! Daadi said. " simmi aur rahil ko aa jaaney doh fir inki love story ko top floor par pahuncha dengay. Nani said. The grannies stood their throwing flying kisses on them. Antara thought she heard something. She twitched her head towards the door but no one was there. The grannies had fled on time...almost running over each other...bumping and pushing into each other they finally landed on the sofa. "Phew!! That was close re! Daadi said. " Chalo utho you need to eat. Antara said. "May baad me khalunga Antara... Abhi may araam karleta hun. Raghu said while getting up and lying down on the bed. " theek hai I'll be with Daadi and nani if you need anything. Saying that Antara left. Antara finished the rest of the cooking and set the table. "Daadi nani aa jao food is ready! Antara howled from the kitchen. Antara told them about Raghu's headache." Uth jaaye toh ussey khila kar hii ghar bhejna. Daadi said. Antara noded. "Tu bhi kha na humarey saath. Nani said. " woh may Raghu ke saath kha lungi... Woh akela par jaayga na? Antara said. Grannies gave her questionable gaze."Kiya? Aap dono mujhey aysey kiyu dekh Rahi hai? Antara asked feeling a bit embarrassed. "Tu hii Raghu ki biwi banegi tum dekhna! Daadi couldn't hold her emotions and blurted out. Antara's eyes widened. " Daadi!!! Aap ko patah hai ye nai hosakta fir bhi aap dono aas lagay baithi hai. Antara said as her heart beat rose. "Kiyu nai ho Sakta? Bilkul hosakta hai...mera potah Joh tumsey pyaar karney laga hai! Antara's heart almost stopped beating at daadi's words! " aap...aap Kiya bol Rahi hai Daadi? Antara stammered. "Woh tumey khudh hii batayga. Nani said. Antara was finding it hard to breath even. With a trembling hands she gave them their meds. Daadi nani ate and praised her for such a talent in cooking. Antara's mind was roaming on daadi's words. " Raghu mujhsey pyaar karta hai? Ye nai hosakta!" Fir Arti ka Kiya hoga? "She'll blame me for everything... Iss sey pahelay aysa kuch ho may yaha se chali jaaongi. Antara thought. The grannies finished eating and enjoyed the kahwa which antara made. " Raghu ko utha de beta. Daadi said. "May ussey dinner wahi de deti hun Daadi. Antara said while fixing a plate for him. Antara headed towards the bedroom with the food. The grannies again tip toed behind her. " ye hum theek nai kar rahey. Nani said. "Arey yaar everything's fair in love and war! Daadi replied. " Raghu! "Utho na! " kuch khaa lo! Antara said. Raghu rubbed his eyes and feebly opened them. He smiled when he found Antara standing there with the food. He so much wanted her to feed him so he started to figure out a way. "Nai khana mujhey Antara! Raghu said. " kuch nai sunna humey!"Chup chaap utho aur khana khao! Antara said firmly. "Tu khilaygi mujhey? Asked Raghu. Their gaze met. " bolo na! Tu khilaygi mujhey? He asked again while reading her expression. Antara didn't know why she noded in yes. Gladly Raghu went to wash up and came back . sitting on the bed he waited for her to feed him."bilkul bacchay ho tum! Antara said while shoving the food in his mouth. "Sirf Tumarey paas baccha ban jaata hun may. Replied Raghu. " hayee...I'm dead! Daadi said. "Aur may bhi! Nani said. " Tumney khaya? Raghu asked. "Arey issney kuch bhi nai khaya beta... She was waiting for you na! Daadi said while stepping in the room. " Daadi!! Antara said while lowering her gaze. Raghu searched her face for answers. "Antara! Raghu said." Woh... Woh tum akelay hojatey na toh I wanted to give you company. Antara said. Raghu took a piece from the plate and and fed her."chal khaa merey saath. Raghu said while feeding her. Embarrassed and shy...she also fed him. Raghu on purpose bit and licked her fingers but Antara couldn't react because the grannies were there...she hissed and kept quiet."Nazar na lagay merey baccho ko. Grannies said in unison. Rantara finished eating from one plate and came out in the kitchen. " thanks Antara... Abh hum Chaltey hai. Raghu said. "Tumara sar dard theek hai na? Asked antara while seeing them off at the door. Raghu smiled and gave her a thumps up. " Aur woh jo bus stop par huwa uskey liye sorry! Raghu apologized by holding his both ears. Antara smiled..Raghu smiled back. Biding goodnight the trio left. On the way Daadi asked Raghu." Tu Antara se pyaar karta hai na? "Chahaney laga hai tu ussey...sab dikhta hai humey. Raghu smiled ...slightly blushing he looked away. The trio sat on the steps of naik house. Raghu laid his head on daadi's lap and looked at the moon shining bright over them." Han Daadi... Pyaar karney laga hun may antara se!"chahaney laga hun ussey... Apney dil aur jaan se bhi zyada! "Jaan ban chuki hai woh meri! Raghu finally confessed his love to his grannies. Grannies were on top of the world! "Yahi toh humey Tumarey muh se sunna thaa.. abh tu dekhna tera ye grannies Kiya rang laatey hai! Daadi said proudly.

precap padh ke to ddej ki yaad aa gayee,jab aaji ko heart attack aaya tha aur apni antara ne aaji ki jaan bachayee thi,tab raghu ka gussa thodasa thanda ho gaya tha,,,,,,,, haila kya din the wohhh,i miss rantara very much
