Outstanding performance by Raina! The best part about it was that he delivered when India really needed it. Rahane and Rohit laid the foundation after loss of 2 early wickets and then Raina just turned things around. For a change, Dhoni played the passive role but he supported his partner well. India have a big enough total to win. Hopefully, we can start the series with a bang!

Raina's innings has made all the difference today. Rahane, Rohit and Dhoni batted well but it was Raina who boosted India's score. If India win the game today, they should try out Samson in place of Dhawan. Maybe, the youngster will surprise us. Then it would be a perfect team.

Fantastic total considering we were struggling in the first 10 overs. England just lost the plot in the middle overs when they allowed the Indian middle-order to settle. I think, Finn should get a game in place of Jordan for the next matc

A very good effort from India having been sent in and been 19 for 2 in the early stages. Suresh Raina has been the star with a tremendous century, nicely backed up by his captain and India have posted a total, the like of which (over 300) England have only chased twice in ODIs.

The revised target for England is 295 in 47 overs. Only 3 overs have been deducted and the total comes down to below 300.

England have started slowly but they have wickets in hand. Even India's score was not much in the first 10 overs or so. England can always accelerate later. Mohit is bowling brilliantly but it will not matter much if he is unable to get a breakthrough soon.
