Separation: A VeeBa OS updated part12, page5

Friends, I might be over reacting a bit, but yesterday's VeeBa scene has somewhat disturbed me. Many wearied thought are running through my mind and I'm trying to pen it down and share with you all, please give me your honest feedback.

Baldev was about to leave for the poly house site when Veera, Nihal and a few villagers came to the front yard of his house.

B: aare chachu aap log...main toh site peh hi aa raha tha...he passed an admiring glance toward Veera

N: Baldev ek bhi motor kaam nahi kar raha hain..keya tune check karke nahi laya tha?

B: Chachu maine Billa se kaha tha ke saare motor check kar lega aur main kuch khari dari karne chala gaya tha.

 Veera: Baldev mainu yekin nahi aa raha hai ki tu itna gyaar zimmedar ho sakta hai. Tujhe pata hain na yeh project hamare liye kitna important hain, aab pindwalon ko hum key jawab denge?...oye tu sun bhi raha hai?

He was dumbstruck by her words. He was looking bluntly at Nihal, whose words awaken hi up

N: Baldev, ek bhi motor nahi chal rahi hain...tujhe aisi ka kahridari karni thi...

B: Chachu...ek minute...He was shivering with anger chaliya site peh chalke dekte hain...main abhi sahar jaake unhe badal ke launga...

N: Haan chal...keya karta rehta hai tu Baldev...he sounded disgusted, Veera was giving him a similar look as well. He picked out his mobile...

B: Billa... 5 minute main poly house se site pe paunch

They all reached the site Nihal demonstrated to Baldev none of the motors were working, very soon Billa reached there

Billa: Praji ki koya...aap itne gusse main kiun ho?

B: Kal tune saari motor check karke li thi?

Bil: Haan praji, sari motor chalake dekh liya tha

B: Toh aab ek bhi motor kiun nahi chal rahi hain...he sounded really angry

Bil: keya?..eh kaise ho sakta hain praji...chalo dekte hain...they moved closer to a motor with Nihal... praji..us aadmi ke paas ek laal rang ke aur ek kaale rang ke taar they...woh laal rang ke tar ko inha aur kaale rang ke tar ko inha laga ke chalake dikhaya tha... he pointed to two connection points on the motor

B: Mainu kuch nahi...his words were cut short by Nihal

N: Baldev ek minute...Billa tu mujhe dikha.. kaise connection kiya tha us aadmi ne... Billa again pointed out the two points. Nihal reversed the connection of the wires and powered it on...and...the motor worked.

Bil: Dekha praji...maine check kar liya tha...Baldev looked shocked...he looked bluntly at Nihal, but the very next moment he turned around toward Veera and gave her his trademark glare...

B: Thik hain Billa tu jaa...

Bil: Thik hain praji

B: Chachu aap baki ke saare motor bhi check kar lo... Nihal checked every single motor, all of them worked, but they could not execute the intended purpose, he seemed lost...

Veera: Chachu ki hoya?... right then Baldev received a call on his mobile

B: Hello!... haan main Baldev Singh bol raha hu...ji kahiye...aacha thik hain, main abhi nikal raha hun, bas ek ghante main paunch jaunga. He hung up the phone...Chachu mainu lagta hain mujhe yeh saare motor leke dukan peh jana chahiye... unse kehenge bhai tum log badal ke dusra do...aap chinta maat karo chachu... main abhi jata hoon. ... Nihal was still looking lost...Baldev put all the motors in his jeep and drove away not for once he did looked at Veera. He returned about 2 hours later with the new motors, they looked identical to the earlier ones. Nihal connected one of them and everything worked smoothly. Baldev put all the motors down and said Aab main chalta hu chachu.

N: Matlab!... kitthey ja raha hain tu?...yehaan itne saare kaam hain

B: Woh...chachu mainu kuch kaam hain...aab mainu chutti de do...matlab aaj mainu chutti de do...Nihal thought for a while and then smilingly said " AAcha thik hain jaa...main dekh lunga"

[That night...Baldev's house]

N: Aare haan Baldev...aab mainu baat keya huwa tha...yeh motoron ka ka chakkar tha?

B: Oh chachu! kuch nahi...kaal hamare saath us dukan peh ek aur grahak bhi aya tha. Unhe bhi bohot saare motor chahiye they...saare motor ko check karne ke baad dukan ke malik ne Billa aur us aadmi ko andar chayee pine ke liye bulaya aur is bitch ukse karamchariyon neh hamare motor unke gaddi main aur unke motor humare gaddi main charah di... aab chachu dono motor ek dum same dikhte hain...aap ne dekha na...upar se main aur Billa dono hi thekre gawar...jo gaddi main rakha tha use hi leke aagaye...aaj subha dukan ke malik ka phone aya tha tabhi toh main jaldi jaldi nikal gaya

Nihal was struggling for words, but he could easily pick up the sarcasm and pain in his words

N: Haan Baldev...woh sab pindwale bohot ghabra gaye they...unhe dekh ke main bhi ghabr gaya...aur bekar main tuhe daant diya...

B: woh chachu...koye nahi...aap mere chachu ho...aap ka haq banta hain dantne ka...aur waise bhi yeh behkoof Baldev hain hi saab ke baat sunne ka liye...

N: Baldev ...tu aise kiun...his words were cut short by the entry of Balwant

Balwant: Nihalji saastriya-kaal

N: saastriya-kaal  Balwantji

Balwant: Aare Baldev tu yehaan hain, main tujhe hi dund raha tha...woh puttar chanchali ka phone aaya tha, keh rahi thi tujh se koye bohot hi zaruri gal karni hain...phone karne kae liye kaha hain tujhe... yeh le puttar uske Delhi wala number

Baldev took the number from him and went outside...Balwant and Nihal kept chatting...after 2 mins Baldev returned

B: Papaji...didi keh rahi thi unhe mujhe koye bohot hi zaroori gal karni hain...kal hi mujhe Delhi gane keliye kaha hain...maine kahi baar puncha didi koye paresani hai ki to bole nahi...tu aram naal aana, lekin kaal hi aaja zaroori hain

Balwant: To thik hain na puttart tu kaal subha ki hi Bus se Delhi chala ja

B: Ji papaji

Balwant: Aacha Nihal ji main chalta hu

B: chachu main bhi chalta hu...mainu taiyaari karni hain...

N: thik hain

That nightVeera called Baldev. He didn't receive the call, but replied with a message " Main is waqt bahar hun kisi kaam se, kaal subha baat karoonga". The next morning he left for Delhi leaving another message for Veera " Main kisi zaroori kaam se Delhi ja raha hoon Chanchali Didi ke ghar".

Next morning Nihal came to Veera's house, she was expecting Baldev as well, but he was not there

V: chachu...aap akele ayee?

N: Haan!!!! kiun tujhe pata nahi hain Baldev Delhi gaya hain?...their convo was interrupted by Ratan

R: Nihal ji ...aiyeh... chaye taiyaar hain

N: ji ...ata hoon

V: Chachu main baas kaamre se aati hoon. She almost ran to her room and checked her phone...Baldev kuch bole bina hi Delhi chala gaya...kaal raat ko bhi baat nahi kiya...ek baar use call kar leti hoon... she tried to call him, but his phone was unreachable...she tried to message him, but it also bounced back...

[ Delhi...Chanchai/soniya's house]

C: aare Baldev ...tu aagaya

B: Haan didi...aap hi ne to kaha tha  kaal hi aaja...ki baat hain didi...sab thik hain na...

C: Haan Baldev...tu beth to pehle...main ne tere pasand ka nasta banaya hain...papaji neh phone kiya tha ke tu subha ke bus se aa raha hain...

After breakfast

B: Didi, aab to bata do aisi ki zaroori gal karni hain jo aapne mujhe itni jaldi aane ke liye kaha?

C: woh Baldev mainu ghar shift karna hain...aur mujhe teri madat chahiye...

B: yeh to bari changi gal hain didi...par aap ka yeh ghar bhi toh bohot badiya hain

C: haan baldev...par thora chota hain...hum neh naya ghar liya hain...

B: Hum neh?...woh didi yeh "hum" kon hain?

C: woh Baldev...tu na sachhi main bewakoof hain...the blush on her face told the story

B: diiidiii...yeh sab ...kab huwa

C: Sab bataungi...tujh se mila bhi dungi...par tuhe...mere taraf se yeh baat PApaji ko kehni hogi...agar Gunjan Pritampura main hoti toh use kehti, par woh to Mumbai main hain

B: haan...haan didi...main hu na ...par pehle yeh bolo ke aap mere hone wale jiju ke kab milaoge?

C: Aaj raat ko dinner peh bulaya hain...par tu zadah uchalna maat

B: Ji...didi...Baldev was very happy for his sister...he suddenly saw Veera's smiling face in Chanchali...

C: Oye Baldev! kitthey khow gaya...kahin tujhe bhi...aare haan Veera kaisy hain...tere aur uski dosti age bari ki nahi?

Suddenly Baldev's expression changed...he could not forget the humiliation he had to face in front of the villagers...how could she scream at him that way...does she still think he is the old irresponsible Baldev...doesn't she have faith on him...she could have at least come in and talked to him...he has sacrificed almost everything and helped her day in and day out to achieve her papaji's dreams...but still... he very calmly replied "aachi hain didi"

That night Baldev met Dr. Gautam, his prospective jijaji... a very handsome and cheerful guy...he was very happy for them. After dinner...

B: Didi ek baat boloon...

c: haan bol na.

B: Bachpan se sabhi baro ko kehte huwe suna tha dosti, pyaar, saadi, ristedari yeh sab barabar walon main hi thik lagti hain. Aap ki aur Gautam ji ki jodi bohot aachi jamegi, kiun ki aap dono bara bar ke ho jaise Ranvee aur Gunjan.

C: aur tere aur Veera ki jori?...

B: Didi...yeh ki keh rahi ho aap...

C: dekh Baldev...kuch to hain jo tu mujhse chupa raha hain...Veera ke liye tere dil main pyaar hain yeh mujhe bohot pehle hi samaj aa gaya tha...keya huwa ...

B: Didi mainu aap se kuch zaroori baat karni hain

C: haan bol na

B: inhan Delhi main, main kuch kaam karna chah ta hun...koye business.

C: Dekh Baldev ...mera ek dost hain. Us ke bohot bari business hain...tu uske paas kaam karega?

B: Nahi didi mainu apna business karna hain

C: haan tu pehle uske paas kaam karke business ko acche se samaz le phir aap na business kar.

B: Aap thik keh rahi ho didi..main aisa he karronga...janti ho didi...jo bhi hota hain aache ke liye hi hota hain...edhar aap ko ghar badal na tha aur udar main bhi Pritampura se bahar aana cha raha tha

C: Baldev mainu aisa kiun lag raha hain ki tu kisi baat se pareshaan hain

B: Nahi... nahi didi...aap to janti ho na main kuch bhi blota rehta hoon. Raat bohot ho gayee hain didi Good Night.

 Part-3

[15 days have passed. Baldev has shifted to Chancahil's new flat along with her and has joined her friend's company as a trainee. He has informed Balwant about his new job and Chanchali's marriage. Balwant was over the moon. Nihal have been keeping in touch with both Sampuran and Balwant family. Once or twice he had a talk with Baldev. Ranvee has made it to the top 30 of the singing reality show he has been participating in Mumbai. The Poly house has been setup successfully and the villagers are very happy with this new technology. Nihal has been guiding them. In these 15 day Veera has tried to call Baldev numerous times but every time his phone has been unreachable. Baldev also has been missing her every moment, but held himself back from communicating with her, in fact he had put her number in the rejected list in his phone. It was a Sunday, hence holiday for Baldev and coincidentally Chancahli had also got a day off from the hospital. They were having breakfast]

B: Didi, aab jaldi bolo bazar se key keya lana hain, main abhi jaake leke aata hoon...aur phir aap ko bhi to Gautamji ke naal kahin jana hain...

C: Haan Baldev, main ne list banake rakha hain leke aati hun...waise tu aag saara saam keya karega?...koye movie...sovie dekh ke aa.

B: aare nahi didi...main to aaj bare mazee se sounga...aap jaldi list do...Chanchali went inside and as she was coming back the door bell rang...she went to open the door.

C: AAreh tum yehaan...what a pleasant surprise... she sounded very happy as she saw Veera standing at the door...but she could very easily notice this is not the same bublee Veera she met in Pritampura, something was wrong with her

V: Keya main andar aa sakti hoon...asked Veera in a very low and sad tone

C: Aare haan ... main bhi kaha darwaze peh khari hoke baat karne lagi... woh actually itne dino ke baad tumhe dekha na...Baldev...dekh kon ayaa hain...Baldev had gone to his room for changing his clothes...he came out from his room and the moment he saw Veera he was dumbstruck. His eyes become moist and tears had already started to dip down Veera's chicks...

V: Kaisa hain Baldev... he didn't answer he was still in shock. Her tears said a lot to him. He was also saying in his mind aab keya hoga Baldev...

C: Baldev!!!!...yeh Veraa hain... Baldev came out of his shock...

B: Oh!!! haan...aare Veera...tu itthey?...kaise hain tu...he tried his level best to sound normal...but his voice was trembling.

V:  She didn't answer... a sarcastic smile told everything to Baldev...Woh actually Baldev...mere college ki saheli Shivani ke mangni ke liye main Delhi ayee thi...socha Chanchali Didi se bhi mil loon.

The sound of their Voice, the tears in their eyes and above all their awkwardness was enough for Chanchali to understand the full story. She tried to take control of the situation

C: Bohot aacha kiya Veera tumne...aare Baldev tu khara kiun hain jaldi se bazar ja...phir aake Veera se batain karna.

B: Ji Didi

V: woh didi main baas kuch hi der main nikal jaungi...2 bagee meri bus hain...Baldev almost stumbled hearing that..

C: Bilkul nahi...tum pehli baar mere ghar ayee ho...aaj to main tumhe jaane nahi dungi... main abhi tumhare biji ko phone karke bata deti hun ki tum aaj mere gahr me rahogi...

V: Lekin didi...

C: koye lekin nahi...she picked up her phone and informed Ratan about Veera.

After Baldev returned from the market, Veera offered to help Chanchali in the cooking. She was chopping the vegetables sitting on the dining table while Baldev was roaming around the house restlessly. For the first time in his life he was not ready to face her. She cut her finger in the process and screamed, Baldev rushed to her and started sucking her finger. Veera snatched it out.

V: Baas kar Baldev. Yeh jhooti humdari dikhana band kar. Is se kaafi gehri chot tu menu de chuka hain...before Baldev could answer any thing Chanchali came running in...

C: Veera keya huwa?  OH my God...mana kiya tha tumhe...ab baas...choro yeh sab...Baldev ja ...Vera ke ungli main patti band dey.

B:  thik hain didi...Baldev took her to his room and started to put a Band-Aid on her finger.

V: (with teary eyes) kiun Baldev...kiun...kiun kiya tu ne aisa mere saath

B: (feeling very awkward) Veera...tu...

V: Pandra din...Baldev...pandra din...ek baar bhi tujhe meri yaad nahi yaayee. Aisa keya kar diya main ne ke aane se pehle tu ek bar mujh se milne taq nahi aya...baas 2 SMS? raat bahr kidki peh khari rahi, yeh soch kar ke aab tu ayega...

B: Veera...saant ho ja... didi sun legi...chal bahar chalte hain...he left immediately...soon Vera came out of the room and sat on the sofa.

Gautam joined them for launch. Chanchali intoducted Veera to him as the sister-in-law of her younger sister Gunjan. Veera too liked the couple of Gautam and Chanchali. Due to the change of events, chanhali and Gautam had to cancel their date.
