This is dedicated to hopper_ocean, because she is the one who wanted the nightie fashion parade show and ofcourse her rain dance siggie. It is kinda distracting😛. Also there is no aaraichi involved here😳.
Dark clouds gather threatening to pour any time. Kumar and Gayathri are upstairs. Vinodhini, Janaki, Indian thatha are sitting in the hall. Moni kutti switches on the TV in the hall and selects the Tamil music channel. Shriya Sharan is beginning to dance in the movie 'mazhai'. Sathya is waiting anxiously in the dark outer verandah for the return of her husband. She is wearing a blue nightie.The song sails into Sathya's ears and her voice merges in with that of Chitra's. It begins to rain.
Vinnodu mela chatham enna... Mannodu china thooral enna...
She slowly walks from the shade of the verandah to the open pathway, her eyes on the sky and arms out stretched.
Enge than sendrayo ippothu vandhayo... Sollamal vandhadhu pol nillamal povayo
Rain drops fall on her.

Being a classical dancer, Sathya's legs begin to synchronize with her lips. It appears as if Sathya can give a tough competition to Shriya. She has lost herself in her frenzied dance when a light flashes on her face. It is actually the light from Prakash's motorbike. He doesn't expect Sathya to be dancing wet in the pathway. Wheels squeaking, he applies sudden brake, bringing the vehicle to a stop. He slowly gets down. Sathya also stares at him. There is a sudden flash in the dark sky followed by a deafening thunder. She trembles and he comes closer all the time looking into her eyes. He removes the clip from her hair😉. With or without the clip the hair is at the same height😆. They are still staring into each other's eyes. Prakash opens his mouth to say something to her, when suddenly Janaki butts in and drags Sathya inside saying,
"Nee samaccha avanukku pidikkadhu, unakku Sali(cold) pidicchaa enakku pidikkadhu. Vaa ulla."😆😆
Sathya goes in looking back at her husband longingly😛. Prakash kicks his bike in anger and it falls down👏. He barges into the house and climbs up the stairs angrily. There is a transformer blast nearby and the power goes off😃.
Until then, Gayathri who is wearing her own blue nightie had been watching all this from the balcony. She has a sudden urge to dance. It is dark and sure that nobody can see, she forcibly brings Kumar down and asks him to dance with her. Kumar doesn't know all this dance. They keep dashing into each other and during one such hit, Gayathri falls down and has a sprain😃. Hearing her scream, Vinodhini also in a blue night dress rushes out into the rain to her sister. Kumar and Vinodhini carry Gayathri to her room.
Next morning, Janaki is clueless as to how three white nighties are hanging from the clothesline😆.
Mazhaila wet aana blue nighties saayam ellam kotti poi vellaiya maaripocchu😉.
Elsewhere, Suresh also gets caught in the heavy rains. With no raincoat, he takes shelter under a tree. Next morning, the roof falls down with the scream of Dharani who sees paambu, palli, pooran, onaan, aandhai and odakkaan around the bed where Suresh is sleeping. Remember he stood under a tree during the rains. Well, the animals thought his curly head would provide more protection than the tree😃.
