Sun rays fell on Preet's face, waking her up.
Preet: (with a smile)Good morning, Sun!
She got down from her bed and went to the washroom.
She came out with a towel, wiping her face and answered the door. A middle-aged maid came in.
Maid: Su-Prabhat, Rajkumarisa.
Preet: (smiles)Aapko bhi, Daisa!
Preet had always been a soft-spoken girl. She never misbehaved with any of the servants. In fact, they were her 2nd family because they're working in the palace from before her birth. She always talked to them with a smile on her face. She respected them a lot.
Preet sat in front of the dressing-table and kept the towel aside. Then Daisa helped her get dressed in a Princess' attire.
A Princess always needs to be dressed in Royal attire. Mannerism, dressing, attitude everything needs to be like a Princess. Preet didn't like it always. Sometimes she felt suffocated in this. She wanted to be a free bird, but she was over-protected by her family.
After getting dressed in a her Royal Anarkali dress, she and Daisa came out of the room.
As usual, all the workers were busy for the beautification of the palace.
Preet: Maasa, Babasa dikh nehi rahe?
Daisa: Maine bhi unnhe subha se nehi dekha. Vo to aaj kamre se bhi nehi nikle.
A close associate of Raja Utkarshh, Deepak, came running to Preet.
Deepak: Rajkumarisa!
Preet: Deepak, sambhalke! Kya Hua?
Deepak: (panting)Rajasa aur Ranisa kamre ka darwaza nehi khol rahe.
Preet: Soo rahe honge.
Deepak: Nehi, Rajkumarisa! Mai aadhe ghante se khara tha kisine darwaza nehi khola aur na hi kuch kaha. Mujhe ghabrahat horahi hai, Rajkumarisa!
Preet: (frightened)Nehi, nehi, aisa kya kaise ho sakta hai! Chalo, mai dekhti hu.
Three of them reached their room.
Preet: (knocking on the door)Babasa? Maasa? Darwaza kholiye! Maasa!
All of them got really worried!
Preet: (thinking)Mai kya karu... Haan! Mai jadu kar sakti hu!
Deepak: Dekha maine kaha tha na.
Preet: Aap dono darwaza todhh ne ka intezaam kijiye.
Thus, Deepak and Daisa went away. As soon as they went away, she opened the door using magic and she was shocked to see inside.
Preet: BABASA!
Both of them were lying on the floor in front of a circle of candles.
Preet: (went to them and shaking them)Ba...babasa? Maasa! Uthiye na! Kya hua aap dono ko?! Uthiye na!(crying)
"Rajkumari Preet", someone said.
She recognized the voice, it was Raja Utkarshh's voice!
Preet: Babasa!(looking around the room to find him)Babasa, aap kaha hai?!
"Tum sirf humari awaaz sunn sakti ho."
Preet: (crying)Babasa, aap ne aisa kyu kia!
"Nehi, Preet, tum roo nrhi sakti. You're my strong girl, na?"
Preet: Aap dono kyu chale gaye mujhe chhorke...
"Beta, hume jaana parha. Tumhe maine kal ek baat nehi bataya... Tum ab ek kaabil Witch ho, sab khudse sambhal sakti ho. Iss liye humara ab koi kaam nehi. Iss liye, hume jana parega..."
Preet: Matt jaiye na! Mai aap dono ke bina kya karungi...
"Mujhe pura yaakin hai, tum sambhal logi. Kabhi kamzoor matt parna. Agar tum kamzoor parjaogi to tumhari shaktiyon pe bhi asaar hoga."
Preet: Nehi chahiye mujhe asi shaktiyan! Mujhe sirf aap aur Maasa chahiye.
"Aisa nehi ho sakta... Be a strong girl. Apna khayal rakhna..."
Preet: Aap dono ke bina mai kuch nehi karpaungi! Please laut aiye...
There was no more response.
Preet: Babasa? Babasa!!(cries)
Deepak and Daisa came running and they were equally shocked.
Preet: (crying besides their dead bodies)Apne aisa kyu kia...
Deepak: Oh my God! Rajasa aur Ranisa se...aatmahattya kia!
Preet: (wiping her tears and turned to them)Deepak, ye baat mehel se bahar nehi jaani chahiye.
Deepak: To phir hum sabse kya kahenge?
Preet: Ye hi ki...subhe Babasa aur Maasa jungle mei gaye the aur waha kisi jungli janwar ne...(stopped)
Deepak: Aap chinta matt kijiye, mai samajh gaya.
Preet: Babasa aur Maasa ki kriyakaram ki taiyaari karo.
Deepak nodded. Preet left the room.
Deepak: Daisa, aapko kya lagta hai...unnhone aatmahattya kyu kia hoga?
Daisa: Pata nehi...
Deepak: Aapko ek baat ajeeb nehi lagi?
Daisa: Kya?
Deepak: Rajkumarisa ne hume bheja darwaza todhne ke liye. Aur hum jabtak andar aye, vo andar aachuki thi. Aur aap ye darwaza dekhiye, ek khroch bhi nehi hai!
Daisa: Unnke paas chabiyan rahi hongi.
Deepak: Yaha pe to koi chabi bhi nehi hai. Aur dekhiye ye kamre ki halat... Dono ki laashe moombattiyon ke paas pari hai. Kitna ajeeb hai na sab kuch...
Daisa: Rajkumarisa ne tumhe jo kaam diya hai vo karo! Bina baat ke apne ghore matt dourao.
Daisa left, Deepak followed her.

The Dark House
Though it was morning, the whole house was darker than hair.
Anshumann was relaxing in his throne, which was in the living room, with closed eyes. 3 Vampires came to him.
Trisha: Ek khabar hai!
Anshumann: (still eyes closed)Batao...
Vikram: Raja Utkarshh aur Rani Disha ki maut hogayi hai.
Finally he opened his eyes, those were red like pure-blood.
Anshumann: Kaise?!
Trisha: Kaha jaa raha hai subhe vo dono jungle mei gaye the tab kisi jungli janwar ne unnhe marr dia.
Anshumann: (laughs)Wah! To mujhe mehnaat nehi karna parega. Sirf Dehradun jake Moon Stone le aana hai phir vo sirf humara hoga!
Tushar: Itna asaan nehi hoga.
Anshumann: Kyu?
Riddhi: (coming and joining the conversation)Tum jise paani ki tarha asaan samajh rahi ho ye usse kayi guna zyada mushkil hoga.
Anshumann got up from his chair, showing respect to her. Other Vampires lowered their heads.
Riddhi was the previous leader of the clan. She's very intelligent and faster than anyone else. Thus, everyone respects her a lot, including Anshumann. She's the one who took care of him and his younger sister, Trisha, as an elder sister since his parents' death. They share a bond like any real sibling.
Anshumann: Kyu nehi possible hai?
Riddhi: Raja aur Rani to marr gaye. Lekin unnki beti, Rajkumari Preet, abhi bhi zinda hai.
Anshumann: (laughs)Rajkumari? Ek Rajkumari mera kya bigaad legi!
Riddhi: Anshumann, Preet koi aam Rajkumari nehi hai! Usska janam Moon Stone ke janamdin pe hua hai. Usske paas Moon Stone jitni shaktiyan hai. Harr saal usski shaktiyaan badhti hai. Aur...aur...
Anshumann: Aur...kya?
Riddhi: (emotional)Usske paas agar koi Vampire ya Werewolf jayega to usski shaktiyaan dhire dhire cum hojayegi... Tum...tum...
Riddhi got worried for Anshumann.
Anshumann: (feeling her concern)Aap chinta matt karo, mujhe kuch nehi hoga. Hogi usske paas Moon Stone kitni shaktiyan...mere paas usse bhi zyada shaktiyaan hai! 9getting fierce and with red eyes)Duniya ka sabse taakatvar Vampire hu mai! Aajtak mujhe hara nehi sakha to RAJKUMARI PREET kya karlegi?
Trisha: Over-confidence achchha nehi hai...
Anshumann: Ye over-confidence nehi...sachchai hai! Mujhe koi hara nehi sakta!
Trisha: Aap kab nikal rahe ho, Dehradun ke liye?
Anshumann: Aaj nehi...kal jaunga. (sarcastically)Dehradun ki Rajkumari ne abhi abhi apne mata-pita khoye hai. Use sambhalne ka thora waqt dena chahiye. Sambhal jaye phir use mai jhatka dungi!
Riddhi: Phir bhi mai kahungi...apna khayal rakhna. Tumhare saath mai koi bhi risk nehi lena chahti.
Anshumann: Mujhe kuch nei hoga! Agar kuch hoga...to vo uss Dehradun ki Rajkumari ko hoga.
Trisha: Be careful... Preet bohot takatvar hai.
Anshumann: Kisiko bhi meri fikar karne ki zarurat nehi hai. Aap sab sirf celebration ke liye taiyaar hojaiye. Jald hi mai Moon Stone ke saath wapas aunga.(grins with his teeth)

Preet was crying in her room, with their family photo.
Preet: Babasa, Maasa...kya zarurat thi aisa karne ki! Mai akele kaise reh paungi? Mujhe kuch samajh me nehi aaraha...
{Knock on the door}
She quickly wiped her tears, then Daisa came in and observed her.
Preet: Ha...haan, Daisa, boliye?
Daisa: Aap roo rahi thi na?
Preet: Ne...nehi to...
Daisa: Rajkumari Preet, mai yaha tabse hu jabse aap chhoti si thi. Aapko aap se zyada janti hu mai.
Preet: (couldn't control herself and she broke down)Ye kya hogaya, Daisa...(hugs her)
Daisa: Jo hona tha vo hogaya. Apne apko sambhaliye. Rajkumarisa, Rajasa aur Ranisa ki kriyakaram kal ki jayegi. Aur usske baad...aapko Rani ghoshit kiya jayega.
Preet: (remembers Utkarshh's words, "Be a strong girl" and wipes her tears)Thik hai.
Daisa peaked on her forehead and left the room.
