"Supernatural" will feature characters from the show's past nine seasons during Season 10's "musical-ish" episode 5.  CW/Supernatural

It's time to warm up those windpipes, "Supernatural" fans, because in just a few weeks the hit CW series will be airing its most anticipated episode to date. Nope, we're not talking about the Season 10 premiere, which will be airing Tuesday, Oct. 7, we're referring to the show's fifth episode that has been described as "musical-ish."

"I think it'll be one of the more amusing and engaging episodes we've done in a while. I think we can safely call this a meta episode," showrunner Jeremy Carver teased during an interview with E! News. "We're going pretty meta. I would just describe it as something of a love letter to our fans and there will be songs."

The milestone episode, written by Robbie Thompson, has been given the title "Fan Fiction." Although Carver kept mum about details on what would happen in episode 5 we do know that there will be potential dancing from the "Supernatural" cast as well as some original tunes.

"There will be a little of both," he revealed of whether or not episode 5 would feature unique songs or covers. "It's just going to be real fun and it's a real celebration of the show and particularly the fans of the show."

But for those of you crossing your fingers for an Angel vs. Demon sing off between Castiel and Crowley -- think again. According to a spokesperson for the show, the "Supernatural" duo, who have been upped to series regulars in season 10, will not be appearing in "Fan Fiction."

"We can't give too much away about the 200th episode or the storylines leading up to it," the representative dished to TVLine. "But we can say that while Misha Collins and Mark Sheppard are not in the episode."

But don't fret! Rumor has it that fans will be quite please with the 200th episode when characters from "Supernatural" past make their reprisal during episode 5. "[Crowley and Castiel] and many other favorite characters from the past nine seasons, will be represented in a way that we think fans will love," the spokesperson revealed.
