I guess casting directors only get to cast for lead roles if the director/producer's first few choices don't work out...like Shanoo cast Ranveer, Arjun in their first films. Nandini found Fawad (??). Mukesh Chabra probably came on board for KPC after top stars refused the film...

Otherwise, they are responsible for the supporting cast. 

Nalini Rathnam found Fawad. I think Nandini has the easiest job. 😆
