Even if we weren't fans from Rangrasiya, there were few things beautiful about Ashish - Shampa which made us love them...
Storytelling- In majority of the dances.. 13 of the dances had a story of some sort. These stories ensured it covered a range of emotions and rasas. Shampa is a master storyteller, a genius when you see how a range of emotions are woven into the stories. Therefore most of the dances were complete performances and not just dance. At the end of it all, Ashish is king of Abhinaya...while there is still scope for learning in Natya...
Learning - Shampa is one true lover of art of dance. Her commitment was to the art and not focused only on winning. With Ashish's quest for learning, this Jodi stayed true to what they promised to do at the very beginning - learning and presenting as many different dance forms as possible. This is despite of having the least time among all the contestants and also lack of expected encouragement from the right quarters J
Positivity - when the judges panned choreography of some of the performances, Shampa did not lose heart but went on with the teaching...the positivity came across to all fans...Ashish exhibited total faith in his guru supporting their goal of trying something new every week...this was apparent during the chef dance, paso doble and the Mumbai Darshan...
Hardwork and persistence - The positivity kept the hardwork and persistence going...even with lack of time, sickness, personal challenges, up and downs with scores etc...this Jodi kept going and going on...
Gratitude and Love for their fans - Always grateful for the love and support of fans, their humble and grounded behavior in turn made fans love them more..and made sure that they saw the Shiny Disco ball trophy safely in the hands of this well deserving team!!
Congratulations to Ashish and Shampa, you are much much much much loved!!!
