Vaishnavi is on cloud nine now

She might have left the show but finally her efforts have paid off. Vaishnavi played Meera Sachdev in Ek Ladki Anjaani Si of  Sony TV for quite a bit of time. People remember her as the smart, independent, contemporary and practical mother of the protagonist and she has been nominated in the Indian Telly Awards 2006 for the 'Best Supporting Actress' category for the same.

"I'm really happy that  people have appreciated my work. Acting means a lot to me and I always put in my best whether it's television or movies," she says. Vaishnavi had to leave the serial because she had to travel to the US to meet her sister. But despite her absence on the show, her performance has left a huge impact on the the viewers who continue to miss her. And soon she will be seen in Ravi Chopra's movie Baabul which is set to release in December. This one sure is a good piece of news for her!
