Description of Character: Lakshya Virani was always called "Kisna" by his Baa (Great Grandmother). And why not, he had all the attributes of his namesake... Mischevious, playful, flirtatious and always surrounded by girls...At the same time, understanding, perceptive, respectful towards all elders and loving towards all his cousins and siblings... But Lakshya also had a sensitive side to him... Unable to see the state ShantiNiketan had deteriorated by the absence of his Tulsi Dadi, he sets out to bring her back into the house... It was during this mission that he found the girl of his dreams, KrishnaTulsi...

Relationship with his family:

Lakshya never really understood why his biological mother Ganga left him at a young age. Unlike his brother Nakul, Lakshya is more filled with sadness and confusion about the whole thing than rage and fury... Somewhere deep within him, he knows something happened that led to his mother having to leave SN. Even though Lakshya respects Tripti as though he would his own mother, he refuses to succumb to her petty demands such as to never talk to KT again...

Lakshya has great respect and admiration for his father, Sahil, even though Sahil isn't a great successful business man but still admires him for his honesty and values... Lakshya understands they are less financially secure than the others in the house, but makes no qualms about it... He is equally comfortable taking the bus to college, as he is driving one of the many cars owned by the Viranis...

Lakshya is the apple of the eye of Baa. He was the only person who truly understood Baa, who was in pain about about Tulsi's absence in the house. He shares a playful relationship with Baa (where he calls her his "girlfriend" and tells her he doesn't need any other girls). Their relationship is also deep and meaninngful and he set out to bring Tulsi back to SN, purely for her happiness.

Lakshya shares a great relationship with all his cousins, who he considers his own siblings. Even though he doesn't quite get along with the spoilt duo of the house, Manthan and Bhoomi, he mostly ignores their jibes, unlike Nakul who jumps up to fight Manthan at any given occasion. He has great respect for the eldest of the cousins, Eklavya and will do anything Eklavya tells him to. Lakshya, Archita and Pari are among the youngest in the house and are the pranksters. Most occasions with the 3 of them consist of Archita and Pari creating some excuse for Lakshya and KT to have a romantic moment.

Relationship with KT:
Lakshya and KT first met in Haridwar, in an incident, which oddly had the both of them hanging off a cliff.. It is debatable as to who saved whom, but it was an incident that changed his life forever... In KT he found a girl like one he had never met before. For the first time, he found a girl who didnt giggle and reduce into a quivering mess when he smiled at her. Initially bewwildered at how she didn't fall for him, he was surprised by the underlying attraction between them from the very first time they met. He refused to acknowledge his fondness for her initially, but was always there whenever she needed him - be it while saving her from a fire or beating up (or getting beaten up himself) Manthan's goons for her... He found a great friend in KT who would support him and comfort him whenever he needed a few words of solace. Finally, it took a trip which got them lost in the jungle for him to realise how much he loved KT... However, he still hasn't made his move or told her he loves her. Actually, he did tell her once that he loved her, but KT dismissed it as another one of his jokes, thus making him retract his declaration and tell her that he just liked her a lot. This led him to think a lot of times as to how to tell KT he loved her, but he was scared that she would think he was messing around with her, or merely flirting with her... Due to his silence, KT now thinks that he loves Saniya (Tripti's daughter's friend, who has just come from the U.K) because of his flirtatious friendship with her....

Description of the character:  KrishnaTulsi, affectionately called KT by everyone, was found by Tulsi when she first reached Haridwar. KT's father was a poor man who had too many daughters, and thus was trying to drown his infant daughter, trying to reduce the burden on him. Tulsi adopted the baby as her own grandchild and named her KrishnaTulsi because she was found on an auspicious day attributed to Lord Krishna.

KT grew up in Haridwar, under the shadow of her "Baa" (Tulsi). Strong willed, intelligent, spiritual and at the same time fun, she embodied all of Tulsi's values. She finished her undergraduate degree with good marks, and wishes to go to do her MBA in Mumbai on scholarship. Tulsi initially refuses, scared to send innocent KT to Mumbai on her own, but KT manages to persuade Tulsi.

Just before she left Haridwar, she came across members of the Virani family, all of whom had diverse reactions towards her, because of her name "Tulsi"… Manthan and her got off on the wrong foot right away, when she chided him and Bhoomi for behaving like the spoilt brats that they were. This led to a middle of the street confrontation between the two, which ultimately KT won.

She came across Lakshya, who was hanging off a cliff when she was out to find flowers for a pooja. Trying to help him up, she herself toppled and found herself hanging off the cliff with him. Finally pulled to safety by Lakshya and her friends Sonni and Rajji, she mockingly dismisses the eternally flirtatious Lakshya as a "chilgosa" and walks off.

On arrival in Mumbai, she found that she was in the same college as Manthan. Manthan took glee in tormenting KT who he called "gawaar", leading her to even lose the house she was staying in … An incident where Mihir was seriously injured, first brought KT to SN, to return his purse… Manthan, enraged to find her in his house, insults her. KT is hurt and she is comforted by Baa and Lakshya… This incident marks the first time Lakshya and her share a romantic moment. KT begins working for Virani Industries, as Mihir's personal assistant, but this job was not to be, as Manthan cannot stand to see her in his house. He manages to get KT arrested on charges of drug peddling. This brings Tulsi to Mumbai, to fight for the honour of her "Krishnaa"… Manthan however, not one to accept defeat, quickly hatches a plan and accuses her of embezzlement. A hurt and shocked KT runs out of SN, not even listening to Lakshya's firm warnings about the riots outside. A case is registered in court, where Tulsi comes and proves KT's innocence.

KT then becomes part of Lakshya's plan to bring Tulsi and Mihir back together. This plan has several comical and romantic junctures, among which are Lakshya stealing KT's food, KT falling into Lakshya's arms, and the two of them sharing an impromptu hug. Ultimately, when Tulsi is back in SN, Lakshya credits her with helping him all the way and gives her a quick kiss on the cheek and runs away…

Relationship with Viranis:

Since Tulsi is staying in SN now, KT resides there as well.. This does not go down very well with Manthan and Bhoomi, who leave no stone unturned to insult her. Lakshya's stepmom Tripti also has an aversion towards her, because she isn't rich and famous, and Lakshya's increasing interest in her was alarming as she (Tripti) wanted to get Lakshya married into a house with lots of wealth… However, everyone else in the house, such as Damini, Tanya, Shobha, Baa, Sahil and Mihir are delighted with her presence in the house as a hardworking but fun-loving girl. Karan likes KT, even though she sternly reprimands him on a decision of his because, as he says to Tanya, he "sees a part of Maa (Tulsi) in her… She embodies all of Maa's values… And I could never hate anything so close to Maa…"

KT lives wholly for her "Baa", Tulsi… Eternally grateful to Tulsi for adopting her and bringing her up, she tries her best to bring a smile on Tulsi's face. Even though initially she was against Lakshya's plan of bringing Tulsi back to SN, she realizes that the house and it's members were what brought happiness to Tulsi and relented, very hesitatingly. Initially scared that she had lost Tulsi once she came back to SN, she was comforted by Lakshya who told her, that "he was always there for her …" and Tulsi would never abandon her in that manner….

KT shares a loving relationship with all of the children of the house, except Manthan. She is loved like a sister by Archita, Pari, Nakul and Joydeep. She even has a few moments with the perpetually arrogant Bhoomi, where she draws Bhoomi out of her shell and lovingly advices her… She considers Eklavya as a good friend, not knowing that he is madly in love with her…

Relationship with Lakshya:

KT's relationship with Lakshya is highly volatile. Initially dismissing him as a useless flirt, she paid no heed to his constant flirting and teasing. But the attraction was always there. Lakshya was always there for KT, no matter what trouble she was in, be it being harassed by Manthan's friends, or being stuck in a fire, to being accused for being a drug dealer. Lakshya constantly stood by her, proving to be one of her greatest friends and allies.
This playful friendship slowly grew into a more deep and meaningful relationship for the both of them, where they comforted each other during harrowing times. Lakshya even tells KT that he loves her, but she dismisses it as another one of his jokes...Lakshya doesn't press the matter further...After a trip which Lakshya and KT made to save the newly wed Bhoomi and Joydeep, but instead got stuck in the jungle (where KT was injured and Lakshya lovingly took care of her), KT realized that she was deeply in love with Lakshya… Just as they sat down to breakfast that morning, appeared the new wrench in the plan… Saniya… Saniya was Tripti's rich best friend's daughter, who had just returned from the U.K… While Lakshya was just friendly towards Saniya just as he was to any other girl (his friendliness with a girl bordering on downright flirting), KT is jealous and can't stand to see Lakshya with her… KT is heartbroken after she hears Saniya proclaim that "Lakshya is in love with me…"… She begins to ignore Lakshya and stay away from him, confusing and angering Lakshya who demands to know "what my mistake is…" On his birthday, KT waits for him lovingly on the terrace, but Lakshya never shows up (only because, he is waiting for her in her room)… Angry, she is convinced of Lakshya's lack of feelings for her and continues to behave coldly towards him.

Character name in serial: Manthan Virani

Description of character:

Manthan was born when SN was undergoing a lot of tension… Nandini was convicted for the murder of Aditya Gujral and Karan was beside himself in grief… As a baby, Manthan was also kidnapped by Meera and Karan had to undergo a lot of difficulty to get him back…

Jump forward 20 years, and we see that Manthan is all grown up. Spoilt rotten by his mother Tanya and his sister Bhoomi, Manthan is the quintessential spoilt brat… He is disgusted by the old fashioned thoughts of Baa and everyone else in the house... His sister only shares his disgust for traditions like poojas, bhajans, aarthi etc.

Manthan is somewhat of a bully, who has his own gang in his college… Constantly getting into scuffles and trouble with his rowdy activities, he invites Karan's stern glance upon him time and again… Regardless, Manthan continues with his activities, showing complete apathy in his father's lectures…

Manthan wasn't brought up very well by his parents… Karan constantly pined for Nandini and spoilt Bhoomi rotten, as she was the only tangible remnant he had of Bhoomi… Tanya too, loved Bhoomi to death because she was scared of Karan's accusations that Tanya was neglecting Bhoomi because she was Nandini's child… Meanwhile Tanya also spoilt Manthan terribly as he was the only part of Karan she could call her own… This led to Manthan and Bhoomi growing in the lap of luxury, getting whatever they demanded and having no real value for the things that mattered in life: Family and Love…


Relationship with the family:

Manthan was born with the proverbial silver spoon in his mouth… And he left no occasion where he could flaunt that very fact to his cousins, who weren't half as well to do as he was… In Manthan, we see a very elitist attitude, as it is plainly obvious he hates those poorer than him. He loved taunting Nakul, Lakshya and Joydeep about various reasons related to their financial status, be it their clothes or their father's inability to get a job. While Manthan was ignored by both Lakshya and Joydeep, his main target was always Nakul… Manthan and Nakul always get into huge fights which start verbally, but end up with pulling of collars and punches and kicks… They are usually separated by Lakshya/Eklavya/Sahil/Karan…

Manthan's greatest weakness is his mother, Tanya… Ready to do anything to bring a smile upon Tanya's face, Manthan fails to understand why Tanya puts up with Karan and his constant pining for Nandini… He often bad-mouths his father, only to be severely reprimanded by Tanya…Once he is told that if she had to choose between Karan and him, Tanya would choose Karan… Manthan retaliates by saying "And if he (Karan) had to choose between you and Nandini, he would choose Nandini" which he repents immediately, as he sees Tanya break down… Despite all his anger towards his father, he refuses to let Tanya divorce him and does everything in his power to stop the divorce….

Another great weakness of Manthan is his elder sister Bhoomi… The two are partners when it comes to silently mocking and rebuking the lesser fortunate members of the house, be it Sahil, Tripti, Nakul or Joydeep… The only member of the family to know about Bhoomi's failed elopement with Abhir, he keeps the secret on request from his sister… What irritates Manthan the most is that his sister Bhoomi had to marry the very Joydeep who he ridiculed and mocked by calling the servant of the house…

Manthan and his father Karan share quite a strange relationship… On the surface we see that both maintain complete disinterest in the other… Manthan ignores his father's orders to stay out of trouble, and on the other hand, Karan thinks that his son is nothing but a wastrel…But deep down, Manthan has great love and concern for his father, which is evident when Karan has an accident…. He knows that Karan loves Bhoomi more than him and has accepted the fact and seems to have no concerns with it… Manthan is completely furious with the way Karan treats his mother and tells Karan off regularly… When matter of the divorce comes up, Manthan is completely livid with his father for what he terms as abandonment of the woman who gave her entire life for him… Even though he is given a tight slap by Karan (for calling Nandini "that other woman") Manthan tearfully and furiously vows to do whatever he can to stop this divorce…

We can attribute Manthan's abhorrence towards Nakul and Lakshya also to the fact that he is kind of jealous of them. Even though Manthan pretends as though love and familial bonds are of least importance to him, somewhere, deep down, he craves his father's acceptance and love. He knows that even though Lakshya and Nakul are not very well off financially, they have the equal love and respect of their father, Sahil… Manthan, too craves to be respected by his father, even though he doesn't make it very apparent…

Manthan has complete disregard for his grandmother, Tulsi and he does not hide it… What makes him even more furious is that with the return of Tulsi, came another one of his foes…KrishnaTulsi… Manthan is constantly rude and indifferent towards Tulsi, although not as much as Bhoomi… He constantly schemes of ways to throw Tulsi and KT outta SN, claiming "life was so much better when she (Tulsi) wasn't around"…

Relationship with KT:

Manthan and KT share a relationship of complete loathing for each other, and try not to come across each other often… And if they do, fireworks are sure to happen… Manthan's detestation of KT stems from the fact that 1. She is poor, and 2. She is too smart and righteous for her own good… KT is the sort of moral police when it comes to Manthan and she seems to always pass her judgement on his acts… Their first encounter in Haridwar, led to Manthan humiliating KT and "gangajal" in front of the whole street – but KT gets her own back after a few moments when all the shopkeepers in the area refuse to sell water to a very thirsty Manthan for insulting their beloved KT… Once KT lands in Mumbai, there is no stopping Manthan from targeting her… He plays spiteful pranks on her in college and also causes her to lose the house she was staying… Another plan to get rid of KT consists of him planting drugs in her bag and getting her arrested… Once found out, Karan is furious and slaps Manthan, only fuelling his fury towards KT….The last plan he and Bhoomi hatched to get rid of KT, was mess around with the company accounts which KT was in charge of (as Mihir's PA) and accuse her of embezzlement. KT's presence in SN constantly gets on Manthan's nerves as KT has a way of interfering in matters Manthan really doesn't want her opinion in… KT's foolish accusation to an emotionally vulnerable Manthan (during the whole Karan –Tanya divorce fiasco), claiming that he wanted his parents be together purely for selfish reasons such as money, led to Mathan lifting his hand to slap KT, but he stopped himself in time and disgustedly told KT to keep her nose out of his business….

Manthan finds it disgusting that Lakshya and KT are attracted to each other…The two people he hated most, together? He found it truly appalling and would constantly try to be a cramp in their plans to bring Tulsi back into Mihir's life… Ultimately Lakshya and KT succeeded, only to Manthan's utmost frustration… He constantly refers to them with degrading nicknames like "Chooze" and "Pyaar ke Panchi"… It is yet undecided and debatable whether Manthan has any sort of romantic interest in KT…


Overall, Manthan's character is one with grey shades… He isn't completely negative, but lacks in moral guidance, as both his mother and father haven't brought him up well… Popular belief among followers of the serial dictates that Manthan will eventually turn out to be a "good guy" , just like his father Karan....

Bhumi's Character Sketch.

 

Character name in serial :

Bhumi Karan Virani.

 

Full name:

Bhumi Ansh Karan Gujral Mehta Virani.

 

Disputed name issues:

 

Kapadia is disputed as it was Mandira's pre-marital last name and therefore Karan would have inherited it but Karan's pre-marital is said to be Mehta so there fore Mehta automatically becomes a part of Bhumi's name. It is also disputed as to whether her name is written as Bhumi or Bhoomi but seeing as [Bho][mee][ka] Chawla goes by Bhumi, it fits in that her name should be written Bhumi instead of Bhoomi but each to their own likes.

Description about the Character :

 

Named by surrogate mother Tanya, Bhumi is the biological daughter of Ansh Gujral Virani (Dead) and Nandini Virani (Now Nandini Gupta). After Ansh was murdered at the hands of Tulsi Virani, she was eventually "adopted" by Karan, who married Nandini and accepted Bhumi even though she isn't really his daughter. No sooner than the time she was born, her mother slipped into coma. Her surrogate father loathed her because he accused Bhumi of Nandini's condition, stating that it was because of Ansh and now his daughter that Nandini had to go through so much pain. In the time of crisis, it was Tanya who became a surrogate mother and raised Bhumi, even though she was not married to Karan. Karan's hatred for Bhumi didn't last for long and soon after he married Tanya, Bhumi was the reason to live. Tanya has been the motherly figure for Bhumi and when Nandini returned after the hiatus of three years, it did not go down well with Bhumi. It was quite clear since she refused to call Nandini "mother" and sticked to Tanya's side like glue.

 

An emotional storm arose in her life when she first parted ways from her surrogate mother. Just as Nandini returned, Tanya left thinking of Bhumi's happiness, dignity and respect. However, on the sly, Bhumi was still in touch with Tanya which eventually led to Tanya-Karan reunion behind Nandini's back. Bhumi's love became Tanya's emotional refuge. In the state of pregnancy, Tanya became more attached to Bhumi and her love was reciprocated. Soon after, Tulsi returns and decides to go to Dwarka. Hell breaks loose and Aditya Gujral tries to take Bhumi away from the Virani's to exploit her, mentally and physically to avenge Ansh's death. In order to save Bhumi from Gujral's wrath, Nandini murders Gujral in a state of defence and Bhumi's responsibilities fall on Tanya once again. In the mean time, Bhumi's shown having a soft corner for Mayank, who suffers from multiple sclerosis.

 

The girl that had once been nice and cared for everyone was no longer the same after her grandmother left. Not that her grandmother's absence or presence affected her in the very least – she was never close with Tulsi to being with. As relationships began to loosen up, Bhumi became more and more conscious of her privacy and cared only about what she wanted to. She became more ignorant and unconcerned of her environment and the people around her. She feels she doesn't need to bother to talk her inferiors and prefers to keep be quiet until it's almost important to retaliate, unlike her brother who shoots his mouth off anywhere and anytime he wishes. Brought up by parents who've been extremely lenient with her, especially her father, money and arrogance have gone to her head just like it would go to anyone's head. Extremely helpful to her brother, she's helped him wriggle out of situations. For instance, slipping drugs in KT's bag and escaping the confrontation from her father with the wittiest of tales.  Only few people can be so sharp and hide their skills, Bhumi is one of them.

 

Although she never misses an opportunity to degrade KT, she does care for her family a lot. In fact, when Manthan was arrested, it was her who seemed most worried of all. On a regular day, she is most likely to be found sitting on the couch, trying to find a fault with her nails, sneering maliciously at anything that bothers her. Her relations with her cousins are not too good. She feels she is superior for all of them and therefore chooses to maintain distance with certain species of the Virani family, as one might say.

 

After the havoc caused by Lakshya and Mihir at Meera's marriage, Bhumi meets the "love" of her life, Abhir. What starts from hatred turns into love. Against the wishes of her family, Bhumi develops a soft corner for Abhir and eventually falls in love with him. In the meantime, she tries to commit suicide but escapes death narrowly each time. When her father decides to marry her off to someone else, as per Tulsi's wishes, Bhumi exclaims that she is pregnant with Abhir's baby. Matters reach to marriage and they are almost married but destiny plays a cruel joke which has Bhumi getting married to the "filthy servant" of the house, Joydeep. Joydeep too is shown having a soft corner for Bhumi and voluntarily accepts the marriage to save "Karan's dignity" but the truth is, it's for his selfish personal reasons since he dearly loves Bhumi. Bhumi, who dearly loves her father, accepts the marriage. The two go on a honeymoon, which turns out to be a disaster since Abhir comes and wants to take Bhumi with him. She literally drives into his car, because of the love for her father, causing a minor damage to him. She is seen as a nemesis of Tulsi as she particularly loves doing things against Tulsi's wishes. To Bhumi, it seems as if Tulsi's just there to make people work under her and show her dictatorship skills – in other words, act like a moral compass of the house.

 

In between, Bhumi meets her biological mother Nandini but fails to see what makes her dad so attracted to "that woman" as Nandini is considerably rude to her. Deep down, Nandini loves Bhumi. Bhumi's relation with her two mothers is too complex to express in words. Although, now Bhumi has officially accepted Tanya as her mother, her relation with Nandini is not the same ever since she learnt that Nandini was married and wasn't going to divorce her husband for Karan.

Her relation with Karan is beyond words. She's proved several times that she can go to any extent for her father – kill someone if need be, as she recently proved on her honeymoon trip. Their relation is more than that of a father and daughter. Karan too lives for her as he claims her to be Nandini's last "nishani".  She's said to be Karan's only motive to live after Nandini's disappearance. As Karan has been the only fatherly figure to Bhumi, she knows nothing about her biological dad Ansh and frankly, no one's bothered telling it to her as they feel it will only spoil her relation with Karan. Apparently, which means that she will entirely loose faith in relations – she has too little to begin with anyways.

 

Bhumi shows very little concern for relations, values, morals, traditions and elders – more specifically Tulsi. And why not, she's never been taught the values. Staying under the same roof as Meera, you can't blame her much either. Although one might wonder why she never attends college as she is seldom seen doing so.

 

Overall, Bhumi is spoilt and headstrong brat, who likes to flaunt her status and wealth. She considers everyone else inferiors and gives little respect to family elders and values. But the blame cannot be fully laid on her. It is her parents' fault to a greater extent. She cares for her father Karan the most. Tanya and Manthan follow suit. No one else comes close, however. She is believed to be Ansh's progeny by Tulsi and many viewers of the show. Her personality shows hints of Ansh's personality – which scares Tulsi far more than Eklavya's face. When Tulsi and Bhumi come face to face, sparks fly as both are very determined ladies sticking for their loved ones and beliefs.

Description about the Character: Gautam is the oldest son of Mihir and Tulsi Virani and the oldest son in the 4th generation of the Virani Family. Although Gautam is the son of Mihir and Tulsi he was adopted by Mihir's younger brother Kiran and his wife Aarti. Not long after his aunt and uncle adopted him they took him and fled away to Australia without any notice or telling anyone. Twenty years later when Gautam becomes an adult he comes back to India in the bad boy image. Coincidently he studied at the same collage as his younger sister Shobha who he hadn't known she was his sister. He use to tease and bug her until Tulsi stepped in and got him arrested but not longer after did she find out that he was her son the one she hadn't seen for twenty years. Gautam soon gets to know that Kiran and Aarti aren't his real parents and has hatred towards them in his heart but Tulsi comes and saves him from his beat up life style and turns him into a good boy. The way he would have been if he had lived with her. But off course that took some time. Gradually Gautam changed and started to fit in with the rest of his family member who were happy to have him back.

Once Gautam turned good the question of his marriage came up in Tulsi mind and she went searching for a girl. During this time Gautam had joined the family business and was given his project where he met and fell in love with one of his employees Teesha. Tulsi found a girl and proposed the idea of Ganga getting married to Gautam. The family happily agreed and the marriage at taken set. Once the marriage was final and both Ganga and Gautam had met Gautam realized the feelings he had for Teesha were love and Teesha felt the same way. Problem was Gautam couldn't back out from the marriage and wasn't able to tell Tulsi that he loved someone else. Soon afterwards Ganga and Gautam got married but Gautam still loved Teesha regardless of him being married to another girl. On a trip to Bangalore Ganga finds Gautam and Teesha hugging and realizes that both of them love each other and Gautam doesn't love her. Ganga is devastated and not long after the truth comes out Gautam leaves the house and Ganga and Gautam get a divorce. Tulsi beggs Gautam to come home but her refuses and instead goes and lives with his adopted mother Aarti. During this time Teesha comes to meet both Ganga and Tulsi and tells her all what is between her and Gautam. Gautam returns home by some miracle all are thrilled especially Savita and Tulsi. Not long afterwards Tulsi comes to discover how much Gautam loves Teesha and both her and Mihir go to talk to Gautam about him getting married to Teesha. They find out that Teesha became unfaithful and is getting married to someone else and leaves Gautam devastated. Tulsi investigates the matter and finds out that Teesha is getting forced into marrying a colleague of her fathers soon because he father is suffering a business loss and the only way to make up for that loss is getting her married to their son.

Tulsi goes to Australia and convinces Teesha's parents what they are doing is wrong and that the ones who love each other should get married. After a long time of convincing Teesha's parents agree and Gautam and Teesha get married at the same time as Ganga and Sahil. Not longer after Gautam and Teesha get married Teesha becomes pregnant. During her late pregnancy Teesha and Gautam get into a car accident that was caused by Mandira, Karan's Mom, and both are badly hurt. Gautam recovers from his injuries but both Teesha and his unborn child die from the accident. Gautam looses interest in everything because he thinks he has nothing to live for. Once Gautam figures out the the accident that took Teesha away from him was because of Karans mom he decides to take revenge and marries Karan's love Damini. Both Karan and Damini are heart broken that they can't be together but soon after he marries Damini. Gautam realizes how he felt when someone took Teesha away from him, he didn't want to do the same to Karan so he tries to reunite them together.

However Damini sees the soft and sweet side of Gautam and slowly falls in love with him. Damini confronts Karan about her feelings for him and for Gautam and tells him that she has fallen in love with Gautam and now realizes that she didn't really love him instead had a strong feeling of care and kindness that could eventually turn into love. Damini comes home and Gautam is shocked since he had thought she would go back to Karan. Damini tells him how she fells about him. Gautam has no choice but to still be married to her since she doesn't want to give him a divorce. Gautam does his best push her away but slowly her love touches his heart. Gautam slowly forgets his love for Teesha and starts to love Damini. One night Gautam gets in trouble into the law by some one who was uo to no good. Damini is worried for him at home and Tulsi goes to bail him out. When he comes home and goes up to his room he finds that Damini had decorated their room with roses and on the desk he sees a card. In the card Damini once again tells him that she loves and him and once he reades the card he sees Damini and tells her that he loves her too! Now you can guess what happened! Well alls well in the family Gautam and Damini love each other and everyone is happy that everyone one is living in peace.

Good news comes out, Damini is pregnant and everyone is overjoyed. Couple days afterwards Ganag and Sahil come home and Ganga announces that she is pregnant. Months afterwards Damini and Ganga are having their baby shower and on their way downstairs Damini slips, Ganga saves her but falls instead on her stomach. She goes to the hospital and finds out that she lost her baby and has had severe damage that wont let her have more kids. Damini who turns out to be having twins promises Ganga that she will give her one of her babies. Both are happy but this decision doesn't go well down Gautam. He refues to give one of his kids up because he is in fear that he the same thing will happen to his kid that happened to him (meaning his kid disappears and turns into a wreck like he was). Damini does her best to convince and after some time he does.

Gautam and Damini then find the news that their son Mayank has a disease both are heartbroken. Gautam demands his son Nakul back but Ganga and Sahil aren't willing to give him back. He threatens to leave the house but he remembers that by doing that he would be going back to the old and bad Gautam known as Gomzi. Few years after all this happens Gautam adopts his younger brothers Ansh's son Eklavya since Tulsi is leaving the house as no one is accepting him and believing that his part of their family. Even though Gautam seems to be fine with the idea of his son being raised by someone else deep down inside he cant bare it. Today Gautam has three sons Eklavya, Mayank and Nakul

Overall, before the second leap took place Gautam was a hot-tempered guy who judges people to fast and rushes into conclusions but at the same time he was a dutiful son who cared very much for his family especially for his wife, Damini. For her he is willing to kill some one and give his life for her safety. Now post to the second leap Gautam is much more of a chilled out guy who now sides with Karan rather than going against him like he did before, His relationship with Damini has remained to be good as both are still together and still remain to be in love. When it comes for standing up the ones he cares for most he is willing to do anything to any extent.

Description of Character : Well, everyone who has watched kyunki since then 1st Gen leap will knw who Indu is. Full of character, funny, spoilt, fashion-conscious. Had very funny moments with Baa, Sanwari and Banwari. They usually made fun of her callin her an idiot which u knw she relly isnt. She used bring the comic relief but disappeared because she did not want to do an old age role but still my fav although mischevious 😳

Relationship with her family :

She was Sejal Virani's(also missin) and Anand Gandhi's(long gone 😆 ). Sejal in turn was Gayatri and JDs' daughter and Hemant's sister who was negative and teamed up with Mohini a lot.

Indu used to have great moments with Baa, Sanwari and Banwari and was the one who even through serious times luved to joke around and stuff. She was in Kyunki for about 4 years and quit soon after Gujral's murder.

She also had a love interest going about called Kabir but both quit so they didnt really have much of a love track. Kabir and Indu met in the park once and Indu and thought he wuz cute so she dropped her tissue for Kabir to pick up. Then much later their shaadi was going on cuz Kabir's Bauji and Indu's Baa were gud friends. Though Kabir had already got a girlfriend and so he cudnt marry Indu. She was depressed and everyone still made fun of her which was very cruel 😡 😆 .

Along with tht Ekta had another excuse for more ppl to come into Kyunki as Indu's boyfriends. So Ejaz came in where Harsh met Mohini and even Tushar Kapoor came to the serial for a short time. She had many boyfriends.

In conclusion she was a comic character who always brings a smile to face even though she isnt in the serial. She had many, many boyfriends or love interests. She had gud relationships with everyone especially Baa (I luved their scenes so funny 😆 )

Description about the Character :  Nakul is A Damini and Gautam son. But One day when damini was pregnet when so was coming downstair for godhbarai and her leg slip on the stair and she was goona fall but Ganga stop her. but then ganga felt Down from Stair. and they take Ganga to the hospital and say that we are srry we could not save the Baby. Then One day Damini had a Twins Son Name Nakul and Mayank. Damini couldn't see Gangas sarrow so she Decide to gave her one of the son to Ganga. but Gautam was not Happy about it. But still damini gave her one of the son to Ganga. So now He is adopted By Ganga and Sahil.By the way Nakul is older then Mayank.

Archita, is the daughter of Harsh and Mohini, a young girl whom everyone in the family loves. She is to some extent like Indu, but more mature and childish at the same time. She is fond of eklavya as he is her big brother who cares for her very much. She and KrishnaTulsi become good friends. Mohini is sad that her daughter has not become a scheming gold-digger like her. Rather, she has become the perfect Virani daughter, much like tulsi's daughter Shobha was.

Gautam in a nut shell!

He's the oldest son of Mihir and Tulsi Virani but has some grey streaks due to his bringing up by his aunt and uncle Kiran and Aarti. He is known for his hard headedness and quick judgement as well as being a dutiful son. He has been married thrice once to Ganga, Teesha who died in an accident and now to Damini with him he has lasted for more than 20 years and has kids with. In the past he was has not gotten along with his younger brother Karan but now that he has matured he is more contemp with both Karan and Sahil. He has noe become calm and ration and him and his wife Damini have remained to be the only couple that brought their kids up right and still remain to be together. Sumeet Sachdev can also be seen as Shashank in Karam Apna Apna, Gautam in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi as well as Kabir Khan on the upcoming show Khawish.Edited by BabyStone - 17 years ago
