Well one memorable experience was when I travelled to Delhi two Diwalis
ago. I still in my early teens but I've flown alone before so my mom put
me on a hopping Spicejet flight that stopped at Ahemdabad on the way
from Bangalore to Delhi.

Everything was going fine until an airforce plane crashed on the sole
runway of Bangalore airport. It was pretty scary. I ould see the pilots
jumping from the plane, the plane breaking up and finally falling to the
ground and exploding infront of me eyes.

We were held up in the plane for two hours without any food. Infact I only
had one slice of pizza and no mobile (I was 12). Luckily the kind lady
next to me lent me her phone regularly and I kept in touch with my mom
through that. needless to say she was very worried.

Finally, we took off and landed in Ahemdabad. But our problems were not
over yet. Something happened to our plane and the parts had to be flown
from Delhi. We were stuck in Ahemdabad for 7 hours and I was alone!
Well almost because the kind lady took good care of me and lent me her
phone. Luckily I had money and bought myself some food.

Everyone fought with the Spicejet staff and then they took us to dinner.
Finally the flight took off at around 11pm. Finally, the flight which was to
land in Delhi at 4:30 pm ended up landing at 1 am!

That was a scary experience but it taught me a lot about independence,
being prepared and the kindess of others. An adventure indeed!
