Hey Compadres

My name is John and i'm from Ireland (Begorrah 😉 )
I've always been fascinated by India and have felt a strong calling since i was a child to go there.
I'm 44 and i'm an Engineer married with 3 (almost) grown up kids 😭 .
I'm really hoping to convince my wife to give up a year for India in the next few years....My ambition is to buy a VW bug van and drive across India.....(good idea or no ?)...so hopefully this will happen ...One reason why i've decided to join the forum...i might meet some good advisers here 😉 .
Another big love of mine is Vespa Scooters and i'm also hoping that i might meet some enthusiasts on here also as i know Vespa are big in India....Anyhoo friends thats my quick intro...i hope to meet some of you on the boards soon......
