Asafoetida - Heeng

Black Cumin seeds - Shah Jeera

Black Pepper -  Kali Mirch

Canna edulus- Sabja

Cumin seed-  Jeera

Dry Fenugreek Leaves - Kasoori Methi

Dry Ginger -  Saunth

Dry Mango powder -Amchoor

Jaggery - Gur

Nutmeg - Jaiphal

Nigella/Onion seeds- Anardhana

Poppy Seeds-   Khuskhus

Sesame -  Til

Saffron - Kesar

Sugar - Shakkar / Chini

correction for nigella/ onion seeds.The hindi term is kalonji. Pomegrane seeds are known as anaradhna.
