This is a quick and yummy recipe. Most importantly, the taste is very kids friendly!
Ingredients:
Prawns – 15 to 18
Onion – 1 Medium (chopped)
Tomato paste – 2 tbsp
Green onion – 1 small bunch (chopped fine)
Ginger & Garlic paste – 1 tsp
Pepper powder – 1 tsp
Turmeric – tsp
Olive Oil – 3 tsp
Salt – to taste
Shredded Carrots – 2 tbsp
Shredded Cabbage – 2 tbsp
Veg. Oil – 1 tsp
Coriander leaves – for garnishing
Method:
First wash, clean the prawns and add half of Ginger Garlic paste, Turmeric, Pepper powder, Salt and 1 tsp of veg. oil. Mix and leave it for atleast 30 minutes.
Then add olive oil to an empty pan and fry the rest of the Ginger garlic paste, chopped Onion nicely.
Then add the prawns and fry for some time. When the prawns are done, Add Green onion, Carrots, Cabbage and fry for few more minutes and add tomato paste too.
Again quick fry for few more minutes and garnish it with cut coriander leaves.
Note: This dish tastes kind of sweet because of the Green onions... very suitable for the kid's taste buds!. If you like the curry to be more spicy, you can add 1 tsp chili powder instead of (OR) in addition to pepper powder. Enjoy! 😊
