Vivek - Ash together again

There's a strong possibility that Vivek Oberoi and Aishwarya Rai, the real-life jodi that's teamed for the first time in KYUN! HO GAYA NA…, will be seen together in an altogether new film.
Indra Kumar, who delivered a hit in MASTI this year, has already signed Vivek Oberoi for the film in question, while talks are on with Ash for the romantic lead. "That's true," producer Ashok Thakeria confirms the development, "Ash has liked the script and has told us that she would try to work on her dates." The producers hope to start the film in September and wrap up the entire shooting in November and December.
It's heard that Vivek suggested Ash for this love story. "Now that's untrue," Thakeria clarifies, "We have interacted with Ash on previous occasions and found her to be a warm person. We had even signed her for RISHTEY, but she wasn't too comfortable with the story and decided to opt out later [Karisma Kapoor was signed subsequently]."
Thakeria continues, "In fact, Ash had forewarned us then that such [regressive] stories wouldn't work in today's times. Now, when I look back, I realize how right she was! Had we heeded to her advice, we wouldn't have suffered enormous losses in RISHTEY."
While the pre-production details of this new film are being worked out, Thakeria and Indu [Indra Kumar] have hired the services of MASTI writers Milap Zaveri and Tushar Hiranandani to script this love story.
