~* POTW - Marriage *~

Hello Friends!😛

This week's Poem is about Marriage. This piece of poem was written  on 12/96 as a wedding gift to friends. Since then, it has been given as wedding and anniversary gifts over the years. Not so much the authors viewpoint; as it is the summation of the values one should aspire to when in love.

*Marriage Views*

First, marriage should be love
all encompassing, total, and free.
Love that grows stronger each day
soft murmurs of Thee, Thee, Thee.

Second, marriage should be sacrifice
giving of self, regardless of reward.
Gift gladly given, with open heart
shielded from life's harsh sword.

Third, marriage should be commitment
utter loyalty, deep to the bone.
Absolutely, no questions asked
faithfully promised, never alone.

Lastly, marriage should be forever
family bonded, yet all still free.
Lives joined with love, sacrifice, and commitment
an eternity promised with -
Thee, Thee, Thee

I am sure most of us would agree with the poem.

well actually marriage is very sacred but not much pypl think of it dat way anymore..

in sum cases girls/boys get married either 4 da sake of it or 4 der parents happiness. thus dey dnt lead happily married lives.

hweva der r couples in dis wrld who treat marriage wid more respect and those r da pypl i respect.

as im not at da marriage stage yet im ont sure i can give strong views on marriage but i do knw dat der r pypl in da wrld wid successfull marriages and i wish dem da best of luck. 😊   😳

I wish that is true about marriage because I have seen thousand of marriages get ruined as the days go by. It seems that people love each other for few years after marriage and than love being stronger becomes NOT true.

I know because my sister and cusin and other friend and some neighbors are going to divorce after some years together with their husband
