The story so far

Madurai is a village serial filmed in madurai & surrounding villages.

Lead pair-Saravan& meenakshi

Side love track-nila & Dr.anbu

Family tree.

Five brothers & sisters-verapandi,kamakshi,murugasan,duraipandi,lakshmi

These five r separated due to some ancestral property problem & death of somebody.The main culprit is duraipandi.Murugasan goes to jail for his bro& sis sake but is left unaided by them.

murugasan-pandi,azhagi & one big sis
duraipandi- meenakshi
lakshmi-Dr.anbu,selvi(engineer)

           Saravanan is famous saigaikaran(rowdy) who kidnaps meenakshi.Then they come to know their relationship.Meenakshi wants the family united for her dad's sake.Saravan,nila,anbu,selvi,sakthivel come to her aide.

When they go to see pandi he wants revenge for his dad sake.He adds saravan's name in encounter list.To save saravanan meenakshi arranges for marriage of azhagi & saravan which is accepted by kamakshi.Saravan is dismayed & his dad stops the marriage by acting that he is unwell.saravanan leaves his rowdy life & does business for meenakshi's sake.

Meenakshi accepts that saravan is her uyir but escapes to veerapandi's village as she cannot do injustice to azhagi.Saravanan comes to village.Veerapandi does not know the truth abt these two.Dr.anbu is also camping there.

Saravan vows to make meenakshi accept him.His friends vandu,chittu & recordu have also come to village.

so Saravanan didn't marry azhagi - i am happy. i like the Saravanan & Meenakshi pair.

Anxiously awaiting Madurai serial updates. Does anyone know if Saravanan married Azhagi?

Thanks for the updates. How about posting the pics of the actors and actresses? We don't get this serial in Malaysia. We only got SunTV or JayaTV - like Kalki, Roja, Jaiyam, Agni Pregessham (or something 😉 )
