self purity and meditation

With the purification of  body parts, the  self support becomes detachment from it, in the same way the contact with others.
 Purity in thoughts support the body and senses and create aversion in sensual pleasures and contact with other people by seeing, hearing, speaking, smelling and touching. Purity in thoughts support in deeper meditation in conscious mind.  The purity in thoughts reveals the impure nature of the physical body. The purity in thoughts also reveals the nature of the physical body. The purity in thoughts also reveals the nature of the decaying physical organisms of the body. Such a revelation leads to a feeling of disgust for the decay prone physical body. The purity in thoughts also creates a disinclination in the mind.

In order to achieve concentration, it is necessary to descend in to the conscious mind that is beyond body parts. In order to descend into the mind, it is of paramount necessity to cultivate practice, discipline and perfect the discipline of purity in thoughts.
