Yes, Nets I was angry as well. 😡 😡 The uniform looks crap, esp the headscarf. Not only that, the policewoman would have communicated with Barathi. Not pointing fingers in a rude way.

Nets, did you notice that the hospital they showed "Hospital Besar" (loosely translated Big Hospital but actually it is General Hospital), but I don't know which area it is but not GHKL. But inside the hospital they showed exactly like the one from Arase. Maybe I am wrong. Again they are showing nurse wearing headscarf, but in hospital is at the discretion of the nurses. I think the director is trying to confuse Indians viewers in the rest of world. 😛

It is funny to watch Paro (Laksmi) and Maya (Anjali) in western clothes after watching them in elathu mooduran sarees.  Paro was in sleeveless (or rather sleeve hanging by sides) and trousers.😃

Thanks Netra - yes I was also mad at the way
the police woman was shown - my neighbor is
a senior police officer and I just hope that
she does not watch this ( she is a Malay but
loves every thing Indian!!!) These serial
story writers/directors made the Indian
professionals a laughing stock and now they
have come here to do the same??!!!

Episode 6 Friday 8/2/08

Advocate Karunakaran calls Kannamma(Kousalya)
and informs her about Bharathy being in jail.
He gives her just a profile - " she attempted
to kill her hubby in self defense but I can get
her out." - he goes on to say that he can do
the legal part but for the emotional stamina,
Bharathy needs family. He asks Kannamma to come
to Malaysia immediately. Kannamma has a valid
doubt - " how do I know that what u tell me is
the truth?" - Karu says that Bharathy only gave
the contact number and he will sms his no to her.
Once she confirms the facts, she can call him.

Kannamma calls Bharathy's MIL and that woman is in
the hospital waiting to discharge her slimy son.
She shouts at Kannamma saying that her son is a
gem and if Bharathy did not like marrying him, why
did she accept in the first place??? She goes on
to tell Kannamma that until Bharathy is put behind
the bars for good, her family will not rest. Kannamma
tries to defend her sis but MIL is all out to
put her off. MIL gloats to her hubby saying " and
with this Bharathy's chapter is closed" - both are
happy.

Bhairavi, hubby and Kannamma - Bhairavi vik viks
and her hubby is screming his head off. He is
angry with his wife for getting Bharathy in to
this mess ( Looks like she made Bharathy to accept
for this marriage as the boy is from "foreign"!!!)
He goes to also inform Kannamma that Bharathy
was in love with a very good man who came and asked
to marry her. Bhairavi refused and confused Bharathy.
This is news to Kannamma. After a lot of finger
pointing and haggling the issue of who is to go to
Bharathy  arises. BIL is not confident about handling
this properly and so asks Kannamma to go along with
her collector hubby.

Kannamma has a talk with her hubby who says that
he being a Government servant, needs to give a
notice of 15 days to the higher ups and can not
take any leave suddenly. He asks Kannamma to go and
leave their son with Bhairavi. Kannamma calls Karu
and confirms her arrival andhe promises to pick her
up. Karu and Kannamma at the airport ( our airport
looks swell!!!) After the preliminary welcomes, he
narrates his meeting Bharathy etc., etc., all muted
dialogues. Guna is hiding and watching Kannamma
with Karu. Follows them until they get in to the
car and calls his MIL. Sri is back home. Mil hears
everything - again muted - and asks Guna to come
home when they can discuss further...
