Feb 05th promo:
Sakthi and Divya are in a room.... Sakthi is packing up all his stuff seriously... looks like he is leaving somewhere and Divya has this sad look on her face....
04th Feb Mon update Ep 35:
It starts with Divya and Sakthi at a restaurant.... Sakthi is thinking whether he has to tell Divya about the Aswini proposing matter..... she asks him why he is dull and then he tells her he is thinking of a story.... he tells their own situation as a story and then asks what the heroine will do if the hero tells her about the colleague proposing? Divya tells that she will be really glad that he was open to the heroine..... Sakthi then heaves a sigh of relief and then Divya asks him who the girl is.... Sakthi is shocked and asked her how she found out.... she tells that that she was able to make out from his face and then Sakthi tells her that its his colleague Aswini.... Divya tells her that she is happy that he shared this with her....
Next scene Sri and Sakthi are talking... Sri is trying to lure Sakthi to coming back to Singapore after the marriage, but Sakthi tells that it all depends on his father's decision.....
Divya and Vani are talking .... Vani asks her when she will come back to Singapore....She tells "avara daan kekannum" (translation: should ask him) and she blushes..... she then tells vani to come to the marriage for sure.... vani tells her that before Sakthi came into Divya's life she used to give dialogues that we shall stay as friends together forever and all that.... Divya says "arasiyal la idhellam sagajam pa" (translation: this is normalin politics) and then vani starts beating Divya up and they laugh....
Sakthi and Divya are again at a restaurant and they are recollecting old times.... Sakthi tells her that he fell in love with her when she took care of him when he was ill.... he asks Divya when it was for her.... she tells that she is not sure of the exact time.... but she liked him for a long time and thats the reason she accepted for all this....
Last scene is at the airport.... Sakthi and Divya are waiting with their bags. Sri and Nandini come there and Sri tells them that he is also coming to India and he is gonna open a new restaurant there as his Singapore restaurant is anyways a flop.... Sri tells Nandu to wait for him till he comes back and Nandu tells that she will try.... Then Sri asks Nandu to come and bid good bye, but Nandu tells that she cannot do it and she will start crying if she sees them leaving.... it ends there at all the four faces....
05th Feb Tue update Ep 36:
Starts with the taxi starting at the Chennai airport.... Divya and Sakthi are in the cab and Sakthi starts talking like wow... malls... shopping plazas... eat outs.... blah blah ... chennai has changed a lot.... and Divya scolds him saying dont act as if you were born and brought up abroad.... you were there at Singapore only for three years.... and both of them talk about how happy they are to return to their country.... Sakthi talks about how Sri *escaped* with an airhostess at the airport....
Sakthi tells that both of them should return to their respective homes... Sakthi to his village and Divya to her house in chennai... Divya objects and she tells that either he has to come to her house or she will come to his... Sakthi tells that he has never done anything without his father's consent... but finally gives in.... Then Sakthi takes her to a temple... perumal temple.... he tells her how close the god is close to him... how he always obliged to all his prayers... Divya teases him that he was a sanitary worker before coming to singapore and he tells her that it is almost the truth... Divya asks him why it was so as he is very rich... Sakthi tells her that he wanted to make it on his own and so came to chennai .... he never let his dad know that he was into troubles as otherwise his dad would call him back.... he also tells that he called himself a freelance photographer but he did not have any money and hence eat and slept at the temple itself... then they pray and Divya is finished but Sakthi is still sincerely offering prayers and she keeps looking at him....
They arrive at Divya's house but the house is locked... Divya inquires with her neighbors and they tell her that her family left to tirupati last eve and they will be back by this eve.... Divya goes and tells Sakthi and he suggests that they take up a room in a hotel... Divya tells him that the living together thing is over in Singapore and now she is a total tamil girl... she tells him to jump the gate... she jumps first and then he hands over the luggage to her and then he jumps but he is frightened and takes time... by then a passer-by sees him jumping over and leaves.... Divya then breaks open then main door with her hair pin...
Sakthi already settled in the guest room with all his clothes scattered all over the room... Divya tells him to learn to be clean atleast now and folds his clothes... she then asks him if he wants coffee... she then goes and gets the coffee for both of them.... she apologizes to him for letting him in like this and he tells her its alright.... the door bell rings and Divya goes to get it.... As soon as she opens the door there are two cops outside the house and she has this tensed look on her face...
06th Feb Wed update Ep 37:
Divya is tensed up seeing the police constables and they threaten her and ask her to come to the station along with them... they also inquire about her acquaintnace.... she tries to explain that this is her house and she picked the lock because her family was not at home.... they do not listen to her and sakthi comes into the scene... he teases them saying they look like drama artists and all and then when they get serious he lies to them that he is a close friend of the area inspector and the constables believe him... they ask him to recommend their names for promotion and leave the place....
Divya inquires how the house looks... Sakthi tells that it looks good and then Divya tells that her dad underwent lots of problems to build this house... he joined as a normal supervisor and with his hardwork became a building contractor... she also tells that her dad can tolerate anything but not if someone blames him or doubts his commitment to work.... Sakthi tells that his dad is also quite similar....
Divya then asks Sakthi what he wants for lunch.... Sakthi tells her he does not want to take any risk and suggests that they go to a restaurant... Divya tells him to go and that she is gonna cook for herself... Sakthi then agrees that she cook for both of them... She is seriously cooking and asks him to look at her photo album meanwhile... he starts shouting to her from the dining table probing her about who each one was .... she gets irritated and and tells him not to disturb her... he then closes the album and sits there with a serious look... Divya wonders why Sakthi is so silent and goes and looks at him... she asks him why he is so serious and he tells that he is getting bored to see pictures without knowing who they actually are... it wud be helpful if she tells him who each one is so that he can easily mingle with them after marriage, but she is too busy and is yelling at him... Divya sits beside him and starts telling him who each one is... they get really close and for a moment they stare into each others eyes....
Then all of a sudden Divya moves back and runs to the kitchen... Sakthi goes along... the whole dish she was cooking is a total mess.. its all burnt up... They decide to go to a restaurant... Divya's place has little food but Sakthi is eating in a banana leaf and it is totally full with all kinds of non vegetarian food... he is feasting into it and eating as if he hasn't seen food for ages... Divya apologizes to him saying it is the first day back in India and he had to eat in a hotel.... Sakthi tells that he is thankful to the album.... he has got to eat such tasty food... otherwise Divya should have cooked upo some boring vegetables... Divya tells him that she was about to cook non vegetarian food for him... he is surprised and asks if she knows how to cook it... she tells that she does not but wanted to try it out for him.... he thanks God that it was a flop...
Sakthi's stomach is upset..... Divya tells its all his fault... he did not have a control on himself and ate too much and now his stomach is upset... Sakthi tells that its all her fault as she was the one who suggested that they return by an auto instead of a taxi and due to the rough ride back home he has had a stomach upset... he asks for water and Divya is pouring out the water from a jug into a glass...
Sakthi's phone is ringing but he does not answer... Divya asks him why he is not taking the call... he answers her saying it is his dad's call.... he does not know what to say... she asks him to tell that he is at her house... he tells her that he can never tell that he is out of singapore and defiantely not that he is at her house... he then picks up the call... Divya tries to grab the phone from him... his dad asks him why he took so long to answer the call and he tells that he was busy with work... his dad asks him to take a break and come home for the marriage arrangements as well as to bring a few things that people dont get here as gifts for relatives who have already started pestering him about the same... Sakthi tells that he shall do it and then cuts the call...
Divya asks him whether he respects his father or loves him or fears him... Sakthi tells its everything... Divya asks him why the fear... he tells her that if there is no fear then the love and respect also cannot be maintained... its not like the fear one has for his teacher or boss... this is different.... Divya looks at him and tells that she likes the way he is going in his life and she smiles at him... it ends on her face....
07th Feb Thu update Ep 38:
starts with Sakthi and Divya sitting on the terrace... Sakthi is playing games on his mobile phone... she asks him why he is playing the games when he does not like them... he tells her that he is getting bored... she starts complaining that when he cannot stay with her for half a day without getting bored then what will he do for an entire life time....
they decide to play a game for time pass... Divya suggests chess or cards but Sakthi rejects the idea and asks her to think of something new and creative.. she tells him that they shall play the dream game... each of them closes their eyes and visualize how their life with each other will be after 10 years in the future.... Its Sakthi's turn and he closes his eyes... Divya is shown wearing a saree and glasses... with her hair tied back... believe me she looks much better the modern way.... she is offering prayers to god and Sakthi calls her... he is sitting on the bed after just waking up... his hair is all oiled up and he too is wearing glasses and has a clean shave.... she touches his feet for blessings and she tells him that she is lucky to have a husband like him.... she then asks him if idli with mint chutney is fine.... he asks her why she is not making tomato chutney as that is her favorite..... she gets up all of a sudden and then tells him she cant play this drama anymore and was acting like this for some time because he requested her to do so.... she asks him to eat at a restaurant and he tells that he shall cook... ans asks if he should pack food for her...she tells that she will not take lunch from home as she wants to eat something other that the boring food he cooks every day and so she shall eat outside for the day... she then goes off saying she has to change her outfit.....
The dream breaks and Sakthi is literally rolling on the floor with laughter.... Divya asks him what it is... Sakthi asks her why he should tell her about his imagination... she then gets serious saying that they should not hide anything from each other even in a dream and that is what she expects.... Sakthi asks her to calm down and tells her what he imagined... she faintly smiles and asks about the kids... he tells her there were no kids... she then asks how that is possible as 10 years after marriage is a long time... she also tells him that he should be the one to love kids more as he is from a joint family... he then says thats the whole problem... right from child hood he has seen so many kids running around the house that he now desires to be in solitude...
Divya then tells that kids are the ones which make the family complete and happy... she also tells that looks like he does not like kids and if it is so, she is not interested in marrying him... he tries convincing her saying that the goverment is saying one or none now and they should follow it... Divya starts arguing saying she wants 6 kids and its them who will bring up the kids and not the government... Sakthi tries to argue saying its hard to bring up so many kids... the time, money, education, marriage, car, pocket money blah blah... Divya then tells him that he is so rich and its all for our kids.. so spending is not a problem... He tells that giving attention is also important and with so many kids its not easy... she asks him how people in olden times managed with 8 to 10 kids... then they start bargaining.... Divya is stuck at a minimum of three kids and Sakthi finally gives in saying he is ready for one.... they argue for some more time and Sakthi says lets strike the deal in the middle for two... both of them are contended and then they burst into laughter... Sakthi laughs it off saying its too early to discuss about all this... Divya tells that this is the right time to find out about the things on which they do not agree and discuss and reach an agreement....
Divya brings halwa for sakthi... she tells that she is very happy that they got to stay alone in her house before marriage.. though they will have plenty of chances to stay at this house after marriage, this incident will always be special and shall be remembered again and again.... and gets inside...Sakthi is eating the halwa and the phone rings...
It is his mom.. she tells that she went out to the temple when his dad called up... she then tells how proud his parent are of him because though he stays abroad, he is following Indian culture .... she then asks him to come home as it is three years since she got to see him... he tells her that he will be there for the marriage... she asks whether he frequently visits Divya and he stumbles.... She tells him that there is nothing wrong in visiting his would be fiance.... she tells him to bring along Divya also when he comes to the village.... they cut the line and Sakthi is lost into serious thought....
Note: I will not be able to do the updates from Monday, 11th Feb as the show timings are changing from 9-9:30pm to 7-7:30pm from 11th Feb.
