We have chosen 5 women who have done something amazing and we've provided some clues about them! All you have to do is find out who they are and PM us the answers! 😉
Here are the clues...

1 - This woman is one of the most popular female British authors, who wrote famous novels like 'Pride and Prejudice'.
She wrote at a time when female writers were unheard of and paved the way forward for the next generation of female writers.

2 - This woman was awarded a Nobel Prize in Chemistry for her discoveries of the structure of penicillin and insulin. These led to significant improvements in healthcare.
She devoted her life to the peace movement and promoting nuclear disarmament.

3 - This woman was born in America (in 1875), during the time when the black community were treated as slaves and suppressed.
She was given a chance for education and started the first school for black girls in Florida, that she practically built with her own hands.
She was elected as the president of the State Federation of Coloured Women's Clubs

4 - This woman was a famous physicist and chemist.
She was the first woman to receive the Nobel Prize and the first person to win it for two separate categories. Her first was for her research in radioactivity and the second was for her work in Chemistry.
She also helped to develop the first x-ray machines

5 - This last woman was born in Italy, in 1870 and is famous for her ideas in education and teaching. She was the first woman to graduation from the University of Rome, specialising in paediatrics.
She became the director of a school for mentally retarded children and developed a new program for teaching young children.
Her ideas are still used today in open classrooms and hands-on-learning. She was a pioneer in education.
