Helloooo guys!

We are back with our regular Tip of the Week for you all! 😃

This time, we give you all you need to know about Exfoliating!

***

First, what is it and why do it?

Exfoliation is the removal of the oldest dead skin cells that cling to the skin. When done correctly, exfoliation leaves the skin smoother and fresher looking.

Exfoliating is necessary for getting the blood flowing into the face, as well as for removing grime.

***

How is it done?

There are several ways to exfoliate:

1 - Take a packet of sugar, add a couple of drops of olive oil to create a spreading condition, and then gently rub it into the creases of your face.

2 - Open a packet of instant oatmeal, mix it with water and create a paste. Rub this mixture into your face, then rinse off the residue.

3 - Rub sea salt all over your body and face.

***

Some Tips:

1 - Be careful when exfoliating the delicate skin on your face

2 - It's easy to over-exfoliate so be careful

3 - Don't use harsh body scrubs on your face, as they are too rough

***

Hope it helps!

Lovely TOTW sweety

Exfoliating is extremely important - especially with teenagers who are prone to acne, or random pimples. As these are a build up of substance and oil on or under the first layer of skin, exfoliation keeps skin looking fresh and healhty and helps get rid of the unwanted oils and dead skin that causes and encourages pimples, blemishes, etc.

Nice TOTW, Kanshu!

@ Angad luver#1: I have the same St. Ives exfoliating scrub as well. Yes, you can use that. I've been using it too.. it does help remove a lot of the oil and dead skin left on your skin. Have you tried it, yet?
