Ketkie's new avatar!

We have seen Ketkie as the bubbly Nandini of NDTV Imagine's Jassuben Jayantilal ki Joint Family. From tonight on we will get to see her in a new avatar in Sony and Hats Off Productions' Sukh By Chance…

Ketkie says, "I'm very excited about my character- Tina Mehta. She is the daughter of Kokilaben and Dheeraj. She happens to be a very happy go lucky girl but is well aware of her responsibilities. She understands she has to work hard to provide her family better facilities."

Ketkie further adds, "She is very close to her elder Uncle whom she calls Aeda. They both are like Tom and Jerry. They are close inspite of differences that arise due to the generation gap. Tina wants money through hard work but she doesn't mind getting money by chance. She is from lower middle class but she sees to it that from the small money she gets she looks beautiful. Like she always tries to wear matching earring."

According to Ketkie, the USP of the show is lower middle class background that is aptly shown in the show. She says, "In the first episode, it's shown that where we cannot even afford basic stuff this Tina is wearing nice pair of Jeans, T-shirt and Glares. People will see the reality in the show."

Talking about similarities between herself and her character Ketkie says, "Tina is very much similar to Ketkie. I personally work hard but I believe in destiny also. And like any normal 20 year old girl living her life, Ketkie and Tina both think about clothes and accessories (smiles)."

Ketkie agrees that her last role was indeed different from her present one. She says, "Tina is altogether a new chapter. Nandini was a spoilt brat. A rich outgoing girl. Tina is also a bindaas(carefree) character but somewhere at the back of her mind she knows that she wants to do. Tina is a very responsible girl."

What if in real life Ketkie gets so much money by chance? If I get such a huge amount of money, I will buy a house and a car. I would like to do charity also but I need to fulfill my things first," she signs off.

Sukh By Chance launches tonight at 9 on Sony Entertainment Television.
