Balaji gets title for its first Punjabi show...

Balaji Telefilms, after path-breaking shows like Sony TV's Bade Acche Laggte Hai, is gearing up for more shows on the same channel.

The buzz about Balaji coming up with its first Punjabi show on Get Punjabi, starring Teejay Sidhu, has been widely reported in the media. Tellybuzz gives you some more information about the show and its' suspected story line.

"The show titled as 'Kinna Sona Tenu Rab Ne Banaya' will revolve around the lives of 3 sisters. As the bread owner of the family is a drunkard irresponsible father, the three of them decide to open a Dhaba so that they can make ends meet. The Dhaba is the place where each of the sisters meets their life partners and their life begins to take a turn," informs a source.

We tried contacting Ekta Kapoor, but she remained unavailable for the comment.

Sony was a good channel, but know it has lost all of it's essence. Shows like Maahi V and Rishta.com gave Sony the unique edge among it's competitors. I absolutey hate the unrealistic dramas that are occupied on every network. Hopefully someone can bring back realistic and sensible shows.
