Shweta Munshi returns with Punar Vivah!

Shweta Munshi, last seen in Star Plus' Maykee Se Bandhi...Dor as Avni, will make her comeback with Shashi-Sumit Mittal's Punar Vivah.

Tellybuzz had earlier reported about the expected cast of the show of Punar Vivah which will hit the channel from the 6th of February. The latest we hear is that Shweta Munshi has been finalized to essay Siddharth's (Gurmeet Choudhary) wife, who passed away.

A source reveals, "Shweta Munshi has been finalized for the role of Siddharth's ex-wife. Their marriage has a few secrets in itself, which will be revealed when the story unfolds. She was initially offered the role of the lead which is now essayed by Kratika Sengar, but as she had some personal commitments she backed out from the role. Therefore, the production house has offered her another interesting role."

We contacted Shweta and she confirms, "Yes, I am doing Punar Vivah as Siddharth's love interest and that is what I can divulge at the moment."

The story becomes more interesting with the even more promising cast!

@GCSJ:very well-said dear..my 'like button' is not working..so,cannot like ur comment...different people have different choices..if u like a show,watch it...if u don't like it,don't watch it...there is no need to make sarcstic comments...& regarding age,marriage & kids issues...it is very disturbing to find words like 'oldies'& so many more...just want to say,we all will get old someday,so,plz show some respect towards them...we know our preferences r different from them..that doesn't give us rights to disrespect them

I think we should better leave it for Gurmeet to decide what he wants to do, after all this is his career and he should get satisfaction in what he is doing. I don't think he can make the entire world happy. And as far as hits n misses are concerned, they are a part of acting profession.
Talking about GHSP, last 1 year was not less then any saas bahu torture with tracks like miscarriage, beeji, teji, memory loss, ex-lover. So if u wanna sing praises, please just talk about first 7-8 months, not after that.

And as far as your passing comments on someone's age or marital status is concerned, I am sure even you'll grow old one day and get married.
