Gaurav Chopra re-enters Uttaran!

Colors TV's Uttaran which has lately been going low in TRP's may soon see a rise in numbers.

Gaurav Chopra who left the show back in February for his movie 'Rangdari', which is now in the dubbing stage, will soon be seen back in the show as Mr. Rathod.

When called Gaurav Chopra he told us, "Yes I will be seen in the show again and I am really excited. Rathod is returning after 18 years and he won't play someone who is old compared to before. Rathod will be seen as a man with an emotional journey. He is a lonely man, who has moved away from family and social life and who only drinks and stay by him self. Rathod will still be shown as a stylish man, with a good taste".

Gaurav further continues, "Seing Rathod audience will sense the sadness in his life, he will be shown as a dry and bitter man. The intensity in my character will be on a note higher than before. Rathod will be shown being very in control of his emotions. Rathod was a man who used to get angry and fight, he will still get angry and fight for his daughter. Rathod has a daughter who he used to play with when she was young, thinking she is Iccha's daughter, he will now get to now she is his daughter. He went away thinking he has lost Tapasya and his child. He will also find out that Yuvraaj has grown up as a brat and not as he wanted. He used to have dreams for him, when he was young and wanted him to be like himself, he even used to call him his prince, but will be very disappointed to see him as adult".

What's more interestingly that Rathod will confront with Yuvraaj in a casino, Gaurav started shooting Uttaran 2 years back in a casino also.

When asked Gaurav, weither he will help Mukta, he told, "Rathod will also contribute in Mukta's life and will try set Mukta, Yuvraaj and Nani right. As a father he will guide Mukta correctly and the way he finds of Mukta being his daughter is very dramatic and emotional. When Rathod and Mukta discover each other, Rathod will see that she is much like Tapasya, and he will try to control her like he controlled Tapasya. I want audience to feel the 18 years of Rathod when they see him in the show".

"I'm getting so many messages from fans about my comeback. everyone is excited".

"Some people has changed some has gone away, its the same set, same people and enviorment, so many expectations from me, its very scary. When I came out of the vanity van as Rathod, people started clapping as they haven't seen me as Rathod for long.

Rupali di from filmfare, who is the creative producer, she is like the mother of all the charachters, she made them and thinks about them. It get really easy as actor if you are following her visions. Rupali and Deepali, who is the main writer, both the ladies are pretty much the reason I was shooting today the 936 episode of Uttaran. Its a huge accomplish in today's time. People don't have patience for shows to run like Kahaani Ghar Ghar Ki and Kyunke Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi", Gaurav told.

Well Garuav had something really interesting to share about the show Uttaran: "I started shooting for Uttaran 2 years back, where I got a call on 20th august to do a cameo in the show and today again I am shooting for the show on same date and again for a 15 days cameo".

Gaurav ended with telling about his upcoming movie, "I will only do the show as a 15 days cameo, as I am leaving in first week of September for my next movie, which is an Punjabi comedy movie named 'Lucky Kabootar'. Kulraj Randewa will be seen as the heroin opposite me".

Gaurav Chopra will make the entry to the show in tonight's of tomorrows episode.
