Star Plus' two popular shows join hands

Diya Aur Baati Hum and Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai to shoot an integrated episode

After the victory of Suraj aka Anas Rashid of Diya Aur Baati Hum in the international cookery competition , World's Top Cook at Singapore, he is all set to receive a grand welcome back to his country. This welcome will be hosted by the Singhania family of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai in a traditional Rajasthani style.

We have heard that both these popular Star Plus' shows will come together and an integrated episode will be shot for their fans.

We contacted Karan Mehra aka Naitik who confirmed the news saying, " Yes we have heard about some sort of integration between our shows. But don't know the exactly details of the same".

Hi Anas, Waiting for today's episode. I am also waiting for the day when Suraj will call his wife as 'Sandya' & not 'Sandyaji' & address her as 'tum' & not 'up'. Well done SurYa - together you have won the heart of many many fans. God bless.

What a unique idea - A special episode joining two shows to honour Suraj for winning the world's top cook. It was made plausible by showing the honour was given by a family from same locality & same culture (Marwari I believe). It looked flawless & showed how people enrich each other with their own experience. It also showed that Naitik's family join the celebration in spite of their own inner turmoil. It showed no matter what people generally are proud to appreciate success of others. Well planned & executed. Well done both DABH & YRK Team.
