Akshay Dogra was last seen playing the suave Aakash Singh Raizada on Star Plus' show Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon? and will now be seen playing a totally different avatar.

The actor is all set to don a new hat by essaying a rustic character in Zee TV's show Punar Vivah. Tellybuzz spoke to Akshay who further elaborated," I will be playing a very rustic character. My role will make an entry into the family and it will be a real game changer. I cannot reveal more than this right now."

He further said," My character's name is again Aakash in this show. I will get to play him in a fun way." He is expected to start shooting today.

All ardent Akshay Dogra fans can now catch him on Zee TV at 10.30 pm!

By far the most regressive show on Television today - the writing is less than sub-optimal and most of the scenes are best served if they were written for the 16th century India.
