Model Gizele Thakral is participating in "Welcome: Baazi Mehmaan Nawazi Ki" and the cookery reality show has left a bitter taste in her mouth.
"I didn't expect the show to be so complicated and messy. I am from the modelling world, but I never knew that even TV celebrities can act in this way," Gizele told IANS.
"Welcome: Baazi Mehmaan Nawazi Ki" sees celebs cooking and dining with fellow co-stars or other celebrities. Each week, five celebrities are put in a group and turn by turn they cook and invite others to their place.
"They behaved like they had never seen anyone in short dresses, which is completely not true considering they also used to wear all this. They don't have a personality like me and that is why they were not visible on the show," she said.
Gizele has been an international model. After winning "Ford Supermodel of the Year" title, she got a lot of work abroad.
But she always nurtured Bollywood dream and was looking for the right break.
"Being an Indian, I always wanted to work in Bollywood. I was getting work abroad, but I wanted to work here too. Also, since childhood I was a 'nautanki' and a drama queen, so everyone thought I am apt for the acting field," the 23-year-old said.
"I'm a voluptuous girl and it was very tough for me to maintain that stick like figure to be able to continue working abroad. Also, I am a very creative person and I feel that I can express a lot more through acting," she added.
If an item number comes her way, she won't mind doing it.
"I want to find work in movies. I am looking for a role which suits the way I look. I would love to do an item number or a nice action role," added Gizele, who takes her inspiration from Karisma Kapoor and wants to be exactly like her.
"I completely idealise Karisma Kapur. I have tried to ape the way she looks and dances," said the model, who is currently busy auditioning for films.
"I have never auditioned in India before and currently I am doing that. My cousin, who works in Bollywood, really encourages me," she said.

i didn't know who Gizele was before watching this show but got to respect her for handling it very well...Dimple and Debina were so wrong and they totally singled her out..Debina giving 1 mark was total shocking..All I would say is Grow up Dimpy and Debina

Love u Gizzele for wat u r...hats off...Dedina & Dimpy rot in hell...dey r nothinf without their husband or surnames...or who knew Dimpy before her wedding...& Debina...no words...she is useless...judgemental & biased...honestly i didnt know u at all...i was looking for Debina...& now im sure she is on d top of my hate list...u roch b wat u r...& yah after this show u definetly have got a devoted fan...all the best...:)

I cant believe people are still abusing the girl despite witnessing the drama with their own eyes!.. Debina is a waste of space! Now I will enjoy watching people bash her left right and centre, She stated Geet fans were stupid for linking her husband and thats exactly what she did on national tv! She is was and will always be a stupid nonsenstic woman!.. Dimpy was a b tooo!.. But DB goes around pretending to be sati savitri, so I HOPE NOW THOSE MORONIC PEOPLE going around disliking people's comment here got the message clear! Just a quick question to them, would they still be disliking this article if Gizzelle was the one bashing DB? I think they would have started WW3! So Get a flipping life and get lost from here!

I don't know this gal... but watching the show made me feel really bad for her... it was not wrong for her to say that she had the worst experience On Welcome, coz the other celebs are really disgusting except Amar... Dimpy and Debina are really auntyji...they may be friends, but people should draw a clear line between wrong and right... how these two people reacted to GT was very inappropriate... clearly when people are not from the same industry, I feel you should try more to make the person comfortable, and not mock for looks or otherwise... GT may have got a little abusive, during the fight, but Dimpy started it first and sometimes during fight people say something inappropriate... and Dimpy clearly without abusing said a lot of things... and has been constantly taking a jab at her from the start of the show...and though i previously liked Debina, her supporting Dimpy in this cheap act, lessened my respect for her considerably... GT showed she could be a greater person, by apologizing and showing the white flag... Dimpy I just want to say for you, that your a class A bitch, and you never had any status before the swayamvar, and you did it only for money and name. And also if you say something then one should be ready to hear something in return.

I guess ur luck is not wid u in this show dear... felt really sad for u :(( otherwise u too wud hav got celebrity participants who r unknown 2 each other like d 1st week... but u hav got such celebrities who r frnds wid each other & can insult anyone who r out of their gang :/ may b any other celebrities dont want 2 participate wid them... so now u hav 2 bear them for this 1 week :(( enjoyed d show 1st week very much... but this week it has become nasty... only Amar Uppadhay looked a bit sensible, for rest 3 'NO COMMENTS'
