Telly industry voices their opinion on Sanjay Dutt's case!

Telly actors and producers share their opinion about the verdict that imposes a 5 year jail term for Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt....

Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt who has been found guilty in the Mumbai 1993 case, has been sentenced to imprisonment for 5 years. The Bollywood industry is in shock about the verdict and feel sorry for the actor and his family. TellyBuzz spoke to some of the actors and producers of the television industry to hear their reaction about the verdict given by the court today and their thoughts on the Indian Judiciary...
Sudhir Sharma, Producer (Sunshine Productions): I am not commenting on who is guilty and who is not but today it is sure that one can get punished despite being powerful; earlier it wasn't so. It is the media that has created awareness and the legal system has also become stronger. It is neither the media's job nor ours to comment about who is guilty and who is not. The Court will do its job.

It is very easy for us to say that things should be faster. Being a journalist, I have covered stories related to the court and am aware about the humungous number of cases they have to deal with. It is very easy for us to comment about what they should do, however we must understand the volume of cases they have to tackle.

As a wish list, I would like to say that there should be faster verdicts coming for any case. No one can return those 20 years in the life of Sanjay Dutt. Suppose the person was not found guilty then the prime 20 years of his life would have been different especially for  a talented actor like Sanjay Dutt. So, the decisions should come out faster.
Jd Majethia, Producer (Hats Off Productions): As a member of the industry, you will feel very sad for him, for his kids, the producers and his fans. It is a glum moment for the entire industry and his family. The projects depending on him will be stuck which will ultimately affect many lives. I haven't understood the details about  the entire case so I don't want to comment on that.

All the cases should be sorted as soon as possible rather than dragging them for so long.If the trials are conducted at a faster pace then it would be better for our country. This case should have been wrapped up within 2-3 years. However it has taken 20 years for the same. A person should be in the right age and physical  condition to accept and fulfill the terms of the punishment.  The Indian system should make things go a little faster so that everything can be done at the right time.

Anas Rashid, Actor (Diya Aur Baati Hum): Though I don't know about the real situation, I would like to say that we must take a lesson from this issue that we all are equal in the eye of law. No one is small or big. We must understand that 'Jawaani mein hosh nahi khona chahiye' because whether this case or the case of Salman Khan the basic reason remains the same. Jawaani Ke Josh ko sambhal Ke rakha jaaye. They should think of their fans who like to wear the same colored shirt as their favorite stars wear. It's a sad thing that he has been found guilty.

Also it is extremely disheartening that our Indian Legal System is slow. It took 20 years for this case to reach to its decision. If he would have been given these punishments when the case actually took place it would have been much better for him and his life. Now he might be having health issues too. I truly believe in a democratic state but I am against it when it comes to delaying a case for so long. People grow old and die but their case still goes on. Our system should be fast and should be reformed soon.

Manish Raisinghani, Actor (Sasural Simar Ka): I am taken aback by the news as I have always been a Sanjay Dutt fan since childhood. I would not like to comment about him being innocent or guilty because I do not know all the facts correctly. The biggest change what I expect in our legal system is to stop delaying judgements. Delayed justice is justice denied. Also I believe that the "kaanon ki devi" the lady with a balance in her hand and blindfolded eyes should not just be kept in the courts but also be followed as a principle which she stands for. In India the rich and the influential are still able to get their way out or dodge punishment, which is an insult to our law.

Rithvik Dhanjani, Actor (Pavitra Rishta): I think this is just a stupid way of portraying that law exists in our country but for the people who are easy to be forced law upon and not the actual criminals. I think the government should focus their attention on people who are a threat to the society and not Sanjay Dutt.

hey ssk fans and rosid fans!sid did not slept with naina it was all khushi and naina plan!here is the written update of their plan!
Khushi says that had he not been in roli's thoughts, their plan wouldnt have succeeded. naina too agrees that he was missing roli real bad thaqt day. Khushi says that that was the reason she called her, when sid forgot everythng in his drunken state. Khushi says that she was waiting for this moment only. Naina says that according to plan, naina them mixed the pills in sid's drink.(ITS SHOWN IN FLASHBACK) Soon the pills start working, and she too pretended to be drunk, and coaxed him into coming to her room, to leave her off, as she pretended to have a headache. But before she could say anything to him, he fell off asllep thinking about roli. She says that she tried to wake him up, but he didnt. Then, sid's friends arrived, asking naina if she has seen sid. They find sid lying on the bed, unconscious. they ask what happened. She says that due to headache, sid asked for a medicine, and she got him up here, but he just dozed off. His friends take him away. Naina wonders how she would work out her plan now. she decided to call khushi.Khushi's idea changed the whole plan. Naina took sid into her room, before he could wake up, and also his belongings. she bribed the wardboys to get her to do it. she thinks that if she has to be with sid forever, she has to listen to khushi. She takes off his clothes and unbuttons his shirt.
