Chitrashi likes being original in 'F.I.R.'

Actress Chitrashi Rawat, who entered hit comedy show "F.I.R." after it took a 20-year-leap, says she doesn't take inspiration for the role of Jwalamukhi Chautala from anyone.

Actress Chitrashi Rawat, who entered hit comedy show "F.I.R." after it took a 20-year-leap, says she doesn't take inspiration for the role of Jwalamukhi Chautala from anyone.

Prior to the leap, actress Kavita Kaushik used to play Inspector Chandramukhi Chautala. Chitrashi now plays Chandramukhi's daughter in the show.

"I try to be myself, and just act according to what comes from within at that moment. So I follow that! No inspiration whatsoever," the 23-year-old said here Friday on the sets of the show.

"I have actually never seen the show, I have no idea how she (Kavita) used to do it. Yes, I did get a glimpse of the show sometimes while flipping channels. Otherwise, I have not really seen how it was," she added.

The show continues to star Gopi Bhalla as Gopi, Sandeep Anand as Billu, Suresh Chatwal as Commissioner.

u hv never watched KK's acting...r u serious ?? FIR is synonymous with kavita kaushik aka CC nd no one can ever replace her...!!!

i hv watched 2 epi's bt nw i hv quit watching the show...
plz bring old team back or stop this nonsense... LOVE OLD FIR TEAM.. :) :)

This girl is LYING SHAMELESSLY when she says she never saw KK and cudn't care less !
KK was the life of the show and has given me many many happy hours and the least a new girl can do is respect the show and its senior actors.
Respect costs you nothing but the opposite will cost you goodwill !!

The show lost its appeal after they renovated it all and added that new constable etc. I stopped watching it after that. It will be hard to do what KK did though. It's kind of insulting of her to keep repeating how she's never seen the show. OK buddy, we get it.
