"I am not going anywhere...

Says Tina Dutta who is very upset since the rumors about she getting replaced in Uttaran have surfaced yet again!

Tina Dutta at Dadasaheb Phalke PunytithiTina Dutta is one hurt girl these days. Only 21 years of age, Tina who is working hard on her character (earlier Iccha and now Meethi) in Uttaran on Colors is upset about the latest rumors of her getting replaced in the show. Tina has been a part of Uttaran for the past four years and says, "The rumors of me quitting the show or getting replaced are baseless. These kind of articles keep surfacing every three months without any confirmation from my side. Two months earlier too the same news was published without my quotes anywhere."

Why does she think this kind of news about her does the rounds so often and does it upset her? "I am the main lead of a very popular show and so obviously will be in news since the audience also wants to know what is happening. But the fact that this news is baseless is very shocking and disturbing. It does upset me but now since I am an actor I have accepted it as part and parcel of life."

The news has again surfaced after Tina's character Iccha died in Uttaran. Does Tina miss playing Iccha? "Of course I miss Iccha's character and feel sad too but then the good part is that it was only me who started and ended playing the character and enjoyed every single moment of it. And even now, I am not going anywhere… I would like to clarify that I am very much here to stay and working on Meethi's character now."

Supporting her is Pintoo Guha, producer of FilmFarm Productions who says, "We really don't know where these rumors have surfaced from since we have never given any quotes about this issue to anyone. We are trying to find out the source of the story. Uttaran is going strong and these just might be done by our competitors. I would like to state that we are very happy with Tina Dutta and have no issues with her."

bI watched Uttaran in Starting till Veer-Ichha Marriage and must say Tina you're a Great Actor. Just IGNORE All these Rumours and remember that Only a Succesful person has Jealous Bashers and Rumours and Be Happy that atleast you have Power to make Others Jealous. They are NOTHING compared to you.

Tina is one who maintained show while other acters had quit the show.

I must say Uttaran is a Thriller show with Crap Unrealistic Story BUT Audience LOVE it and its Seen by TRPs of Show. Continue ur work, no matter what happens in show! And oh god! Ichha died? ? Thats not gud yar./b
