The winning jodi of Star Plus' dance reality show Nach Baliye Season 5 - Jay Bhanushali and Mahhi Vij, were immediately signed for Nach Baliye Shriman v/s Shrimati. The couple was seen in the first episode of the dance reality show. However, the latest news is that Jay and Mahhi have quit the show due to their ill-health.

Well this is definitely bad news for Jay Bhanushali and Mahhi Vij's fans since their performances on Nach Baliye 5 had enticed the audiences. Even in the first episode we could see that the couple was not smiling much and looked quite serious.

Jay in fact had tweeted last night, "guys have some bad news for mine and mahhis fans..we won't be able to continue with nach bc of health issues but had grt time and luv star."

We spoke to Mahhi to know more about their decision and she confirmed the news while saying,"Yes Jay and I have quit the show as I am down with viral fever and Jay has suffered a back injury, hence we cannot continue the show."

This would be a shocking news to the Star Plus group too, as they lose on their strong contestants for Nach Baliye Shriman v/s Shrimati. We wish that the duo gets well soon.

I watch nach baliye & shrimanv/sshrimati only because of jay & mahi...& they lived it...that shocking 4 me..now, i am not interested to watching without them...& what this other shocking news that jay's brother's son had passed away...oh God! god be kind to theirs families..!!

They are not sick:/ Mahi had tweeted that Jay's brother's son had passed away and that is why they were both feeling down the first day of the shoot. I guess they did not want to tell everyone about it that is why they said that they had health issues.

Personally I love Jay and Mahi. But yeah I agree, what a coincidence that they're both sick at the same time.
I get it they already won, and got what they wanted out of NB in the first place, but what was the point of signing onto this if they knew they had no interest in it.
Ah well, I was looking forward to seeing them again. But I hope they get well soon from their "illnesses".

What a coincidence that one fell with viral and the other damaged his back at the same time lolz... Give some better reason people! You would be better of saying you just didnt want to continue with the show...
