Romit Raj to be out of Adaalat... is it to enter the Bigg Boss house?

Varun Zaveri played by actor Romit Raj Prasher in Sony TV’S Adaalat is going to be shot dead in tonight’s episode... so will Romit now say 'Yes' to the Bigg Boss offer?

Sad news for all the fans of Romit Raj who plays Varun in Sony TV's courtroom drama series Adaalat. The show which spins around K.D Pathak (Ronit Bose Roy) and Varun Zaveri (Romit Raj Prasher), is based on cases inspired by true incidents.

A little birdie from the production house informed us, "In tonight's episode, you will witness high-pitched drama as the character of Varun Zaveri is going to die. Basically, while investigating a major case, Varun will be shot dead by a criminal. To his surprise, K.D (Ronit Roy) will be left stunned which will be followed by an extremely emotional sequence. K.D's character played by Ronit will be seen shattered and weeping on Varun's sad demise."

Regarding the same we got in touch with Romit and he confirmed the news saying, "Yes, it's true that my character Varun is going to be shot dead in tonight's episode. However, it's too early to comment on stepping out the show as I haven't heard about any decision from the channel as yet. But, nevertheless it was a pleasure to work with Ronit Sir and the entire production house altogether."

Well, this unexpected exit of such a pivotal character is hard to digest which makes us wonder if this is a strategy to attract the attention of the audiences and shoot up the TRP graph.

Our source also informed us that Romit has been approached for Colors popular reality show Bigg Boss Season 7, but Romit preferred not to speak about it. So, is it a final bye to Romit's character in Adaalat, as his exit in this show might pave his entry in the Bigg Boss house?

Whatever the reason might be, the fans are surely going to miss the impeccable chemistry shared between Ronit and Romit.

The chemistry of Ronit sir and Romit as KD Pathak and Varun was awesome. I really wished Varun had not died in the show. They could have just shown him as being away for some personal reasons. That would have left hopes to see Romit back in the show. Missing Varun a lot

Adaalat is a serial which is going to continue for many more years. It is difficult to believe that Romit Raj would leave such a popular serial just to take part in a show (Big Boss) that has a duration of merely a few weeks. He does not need to leave the serial for such a petty reason. Many characters disappear for weeks from this serial for example Mrs. Bilimoria, Inspector Dave, I M Jaiswal, etc. Similarly the audience would not have objected to Varun's absence for a few weeks. There was no need for him to leave the serial permanently and in such an unceremonious manner. So, the reason for him to leave is still not clear. To quote KD... "Aksar... Jo hotaa hai wo dikhtaa nahi aur jo dikhtaa hai wo hotaa nahi..."

why do they have to kill off varun??
i wud have preferred if varun got married to shefali and stopped working for kd pathak instead..
gonna miss varun a lot, esp during his phone convos with shefali and with kd teasing him afterwards..

That's a real shame, to see him exit the show like that, because he plays a very important role in Adaalat & i thought his character wud have a good future in the storyline. Going to miss him :(
