Aanchal nervous about 'Bade Achhe...'

Aanchal Munjal has entered popular TV show "Bade Achhe Lagte Hain" as grown up Pihu and the 16-year-old is nervous and hopes she too gets the same love and affection from the viewers that Amrita Mukherjee received as the younger Pihu.
"Bade Acche Lagte Hain", produced by Ekta Kapoor's Balaji Telefilms, has taken an eight-year leap and Amrita, who played five-plus Pihu, has been replaced by Aanchal.
"I am feeling very nervous because younger Pihu (Amrita Mukherjee) was loved a lot... the whole of the audience love her (even now)," Aanchal said here Thursday on the set of the show "Bade Achhe Lagte Hain."
"I hope that they also accept this Pihu (me) and love her as much as they loved younger Pihu," she added.
Aanchal, earlier seen as Raavi in "Nayi Umr Nayi Chunauti-Parvarrish-Agla Padav", hopes to learn from senior actors like Sakshi Tanwar and Ram Kapoor, who play her parents in the show.
"I am sure I will get to learn a lot from Sakshi ma'am because whenever I have worked with senior actors, I have always picked up something from them," Aanchal, who has worked in films like "We Are Family" and "Aarakshan", said Aanchal.
"Sakshi ma'am is very humble, very down to earth and adorable," she added.

I cannot connect with Aanchal as Pihu at all. Miss Amrita to bits. Love her chemistry with Priya which was evident in the very first episode. The same chemistry with Aanchal isn't there. Really want this teenage drama to end and BALH to take another leap. I hate Khush, Aanchal was strictly okay. Of the twins Ashnoor was better than the other girl. The only thing perfect about the leap is RaYa romance. Bring more of that and we can tolerate those kids.

Give her a chance. At least she is sincere in accepting that there will be some difficulty on her part to fill Amrita's shoes. Damn I miss little Amrita, but to be honest I don't feel her absence when I see this new Pihu. I miss her more when I see the twins, wish she could have been casted for that role as well and we all pretend that she was never Pihu... Hehe... Best of luck Aanchal!
