Yash and Gauri's shows to clash at the same time on TV?

A little birdie told us, "Balaji's Pavitra Bandhan which is a story with a Bengali family background has Yash Tonk in it as the main lead was supposed to go on air on Doordarshan in the last week of August but now the launch has been postponed to the 1st week of September. At the same time, Gauri's comeback vehicle Ek Boond Ishq on Life OK too is scheduled to go on air on 9th of September. What is even more surprising is that both the shows might get the same time slot which is 8:30 pm."

While Ek Boond Ishq has already announced it's time slot to be 8:30 pm, there is no official announcement from Balaji or Doordarshan about the timings for Pavitra Bandhan as yet. We decided to speak to the couple in question about this and Gauri who was last seen in Jhoome Jiya Re says, "Yes, it is certainly a big thing for me that I am making a comeback on TV that too in a proper daily soap after a gap of 5 years. My show is to be aired at 8:30 but I am not sure about Yash's show. If however, Yash's show Pavitra Bandhan too is scheduled for the 8:30 pm slot it will be a somewhat disheartening that we will have to fight for audience at the same time slot."

In Ek Boond Ishq, Gauri plays the main lead Viraf Patel's mother, while Yash is the main lead in Pavitra Bandhan where Hritu Dhudhani will be paired opposite him while Yamika Thakur will be playing the role of her sister in the show. Yash who is currently shooting for the show as well as for Salman Khan's upcoming film Mental is all excited with this phase in his life. Talking about the show, Yash says, "I play Girish who is a simple yet matured guy who gets married to a slightly younger girl. Pavitra Bandhan is a family drama and my look and attire has Bengali touches to it. The show is basically about two people and how their relationship grows when they come together."

Yash however says he has no clue about the timing for the show, "I really don't know about the time slot for the show and we have not been informed as yet." The couple who have a lovely 9 year old daughter Pari are waiting for their shows and Yash is as excited for Gauri's comeback to daily soaps and says, "I am happy that Gauri is back to doing what she loves to do and I hope both shows do well."

Let's see if there is battle of remotes in this case and whatever be the outcome we wish both of them all the best for their respective shows.
