"I am very much excited to be a part of Nach Baliye"

We have earlier reported about how Nach Baliye Jodis Amrapalli Gupta and beau Yash Sinha along with the other Jodi Kanica Maheshwari and husband Ankur Ghai got a grand entry as the contestant of the show Nach Baliye at the Falguni Pathak Navratri event recently. Now, Kiku Sharda and Priyanka are all set for a grand entry as the contest of the show too.

We got to know that Kiku Sharda and wife Priyanka will be officially revealed as the contestant of the show Nach Baliye season 6 which will air on Star Plus, at the Durga Maa Pandal in Bandra tomorrow. 

On the same we got in touch with Kiku Sharda to know how much is he excited of being a part of a dance reality show, how are his rehearsals going on for the same, the strategy he will be using to manage his time as he is doing three shows at the same time and much more.

Here is Kiku Sharda unplugged...

Since Kiku is going to be revealed as a contestant of the dance reality show Nach Baliye tomorrow at the Durga Maa Pandal, we asked him about how he celebrates Navratri and he shares,  "I don't get to enjoy Navratri much because of my hectic schedule. But my wife is very much enthusiastic about dandiya rass and garba."

Kiku says that he is very much excited to be a part of Nach Baliye, a reality show that he follows, "I am pretty excited to be a part of the dance reality show Nach Baliye. I have been following this show from the past all seasons, be it on and off but yes I used to catch up this show. I saw the very first season of this show regularly though."

Always ready to set the stage on fire, he says "I enjoy dancing very much. I have always been enthusiastic about dance but I have not learnt any dance form. Like whenever there is a party or any occasion I am always ready to set the stage on fire with my dance moves (laughs). This is what is going to help me in Nach Baliye too as it is a dance show."

Unlike the other contestants who rehearse for 4 to 5 hours a day for Nach Baliye, Kiku just rehearses for 2 hours, "The rehearsals are going on. Unlike the other couples who rehearse for long hours I just rehearse for 2 hours in the night as I am busy shooting the whole day. From 10 pm to 12 pm I rehearse. It has been almost 10 years that I am married and I have kids too so my wife is also busy whole day looking after them. So the night time is perfect for doing rehearsals."

Kiku says that with the grace of god he is doing all the good shows at one time, "By the grace of good there are many things that I am doing all together at one time and all are super good which makes me very happy as a performer. The comedy show Comedy Nights with Kapil is a weekend show so it does not require much of time from me but yes I have to shoot for F.I.R, so there is a bit of pressure but I am sure I am going to enjoy this dance reality show Nach Baliye very much."

This is a lucky year for him, he says "It has genuinely been a very lucky year for me. All the good things have happened to me all at once. Playing the character of Palak in Comedy Nights with Kapil caught the attention of people as I showed my dance moves there too. This is how dancing gained an importance in my life and grabbed the eyeballs of the viewers too. By far I am enjoying being a part of all the three shows."

It will surely be a treat for the viewers to see Palak a.k.a Kiku Sharda and his wife Priyanka shake a leg on the Nach Baliye dance floor. We wish the couple all the very best for Nach Baliye.
