"Arjun is getting offers and we are waiting for things to finalise" - Gurdeep

Arjun Punj was recently seen in Star Plus weekend show, Arjun on Star Plus. He shared screen space with his wife Gurdeep Kohli after a long break. While Gurdeep is doing the show Best of Luck Nikki, the couple was last seen together in the dance reality show Nach Baliye. Gurdeep talks to us about her hubby's comeback on TV and their future plans.

Arjun and Gurdeep were seen on-screen after a long time. The duo played a cameo role in the crime based show Arjun. On being asked about the same, Gurdeep says, "Well yes, it was an episodic for Arjun where both of us played cops. It was a wonderful experience and when we got a chance to be together, I couldn't deny it. Also Arjun is planning for a comeback on small screen."

Well its a good news for the fans of Arjun as he is coming back on screen. Elaborating it further, Gurdeep says, "I can't talk much about it but yes you can say that he has given two, three look test and now we are just waiting for things to get finalize."

Arjun wants to return to TV with his own show and not with any show which is currently on air, "To be frank enough, we both got an offer for an on-going daily show but as I said, Arjun doesn't want to get into any show which is already on air. He wants to return to TV but with his own show," replies Gurdeep.

And what kind of roles has been offered to Mr. Punj? "The roles offered are for mature love stories. We as actors have matured too and doing a role of a college guy or a girl will not suit us so we too are moving with the trend," explains Mrs Punj.

So what's in store for Gurdeep and Arjun? "Now that we both are busy with our schedule, I have taken a month's break before Arjun gets back on TV. For me too, my hands are full with the new upcoming seasons of Best of Luck Nikki -4 and Zee Khana Khazana 3. I can't go for a daily soap as for me my daughter is my priority right now but I am looking forward to see Arjun in soaps. 2014 has lots stored in for us," concludes Gurdeep.

The couple will look good together if they come in a mature love story which is what their fans too would want to see them in.
