Life OK's promising show Baawre which had aired its first episode on June 2 this year is all set to wrap up and air its last on September 5.

The story was based on two individuals who initially hated each other but fell for each other over a period of time. Vinita Joshi and Abhishek Rawat play the leads in the show. The show is produced by Sunshine Productions.

Well, our source informs, "The main reason for pulling this show down was low TRP ratings and also it did not create any stir among the audience's."

Writer Nilesh Mishra says, "It is the channel's decision. I do not know anything about it."

When got in touch with Vinita Joshi, she says, "Yes, Baawre is going off air. The main reason like everyone knows is because of the low TRPs. But personally, my friends circle and people abroad are liking the show. So it is not that it is a bad show. We had started off really well and everyone were looking up to it. But personally I feel the time slot worked against the show. But it is okay. Everyone wants to make a good show and I am taking this too very positively. Our makers and the entire crew worked really hard to deliver this show. We had shot our initially episodes in Lucknow and all in all it was an amazing experience for me. I am happy with the kind of exposure I have got and I have learnt a lot. I have made some best of friends too. I have full faith on God and I am sure He has something good in stock for me."

Male protagonist Abhishek Rawat says, I have not been informed about the progress as of now."

Sad indeed! This was a promising show when it started.

I also have a feeling that the time slot worked against it.

And then of course, the writers messed it up.

Feeling bad for the entire cast and crew.

Really enjoyed this show. But happy that instead of killing the complete essence of the show, the makers at least are giving a decent end. Would have loved to see Nikumb - Yams relationship develop along with Raghu softening his stand but guess TRPs not coming left the makers with no chance.

Sad...the show started off with such lovely potential but was suddenly thrown off track midway last month. It was obvious that the writers themselves had started to back away from the project so this news comes as no surprise now.

What is really sad though is what a lovely and different project this was to begin with with the poetic narration style...if they were going to end it in three months anyways, wish they had stuck to the original story and finished with that plan...

Didn't this show take more than a year to develop? And now it's done for in just 3 months that too after losing it's original essence? Harsh are the ways of TV land.
