Ace producer Sumeet Mittal who has recently launched his new show Ek Rishta Aisa Bhi on Sony Pal, is all set to launch his new show for Life OK very soon.

Our source informed us, "Sumeet Mittal's ongoing popular show Tumhari Paakhi is all set to bid adieu in the coming 2-3 months. The makers are coming up with a new show which is going to be the sequel of their own show Main Lakshmi Tere Aangan Ki."

"The show is going to be a love story which will revolve around a struggling actor and an actress. The male protagonist of the show will have a background of the industry but the female protagonist will have no Godfather. She belongs to a small town who dreams to become a star. Both of them will meet someday in an audition and from here their love story will begin," adds our source.

We buzzed producer Sumeet Mittal for a confirmation but we did not get any revert from him.

Keep reading this space for more updates.

@anonee Pakhi said she would marry Veer not because she suddenly discovered that she was in love with Veer or wanted to spend the rest of her life with him.Perhaps you missed the part where Mata Anuja and Mr. Veer conspired to poison Ayaan' mind, thereby emotionally blackmailing the woman to chose a father for her child, Not a Husband or life parner for herself. Pakhi was supposed to chose Aryaman but she didn't , because a) she held him responsible for Anshuman's death and b) they Did Not Have Aryaman. She just chose the lesser of the two evils. By a forceful marriage I did not mean marriage at gun point. Being pressurized for the sake of your child is forceful too. Hegemony, apart from physical force, is the means through which patriarchy has perpetuated its control over the female race for centuries.

If you were a thorough feminist, you would have argued for a scenario where Pakhi was shown to handle her private and public role perfectly well, singlehandedly. This disgusting marriage only reinforce s the idea that no matter how skilled a woman is, she will always NEED A MAN to complete her family and handle the public space to run that family. So, much for women emancipation!!
Now, of course they'll bring in a love angle and further insult Ankhi's story because those morons have clearly nothing better to show.Sick!!!

As far as, who looks how old, is concerned everyone knows the truth. I need not comment on that. Only a blind person would miss the difference in the visual appeal of the two pairs (I.e. if you wish to call Pakhi and Veer so).

I don't care what kind of a marriage is this, "majboori" or whatever such nonsense. It is pretty blasphemous for me. Obviously, I miss episodes. Earlier I used to watch bits and pieces but now I make sure that I don't even mistakenly catch a glimpse of it. The entire thing makes me want to puke to smash someone's head. I have no intention of putting myself through burning hell by...

@angelicbabe: I guess you missed the episode where Pakhi declares that she will marry Veer. And, that is why you mistakenly state that she was forced to marry Veer. As far as age goes, IMO Anshuman looked as old as Veer. So how aged a person appears depends on the viewer.

As far as committing bigamy - neither Pakhi or Veer are committing one as they were single before getting married. Perhaps you missed the episode where they showed that Anshuman is dead and Veer mentioned that he is a bachelor.

Nooo... this show has become so interesting now. Pakhi was and will always be an amazing character and I really wish we could have seen more of it.

Finally!!!!

The prayers of TP fans answered and the curse of EBI fans on Life OK!!!!

@anonee And ofcourse, forcibly being married to a guy, years older than you, to feed into the conventional notions of the society that a single mother cannot take care of her child while simultaneously pursuing business, is thoroughly feminist.

Anshuman was a bigamist and so are Pakhi and Veer now. TP has turned into a typical show with saas- bahut rivalry, multiple marriages and character assassination.

Tumhari Pakhi is interesting to watch now - because the protagonist Pakhi is finally being emotionally free.
Free from the age-old misogynist belief that women should be tied to a man in childhood. And in adulthood be faithful to him even if he is a bigamist and dislikes her,

I am loving the show. Used to watch it from the start. In between stopped watching as it was boring. But again it is interesting to watch. Waiting for scenes between Varun Badola and Shraddha Arya

every episode is awesome / every scene is well written
u you won't feel like its boring , nor characters are ruined ext
its sad that people did not continue watching and they even do not move on
if they don't like .. please change the channel and find another show to watch ...!!
MIK has moved on
accept his decision and let the show move on as well !! the story is supperb and i don't think its time to turn it off.

Great!! So, to run the show for another four months, they decided to ruin the initial 8 months and screw our memories of the show.
Sounds logical enough!!!

High time the show ends...story ended long time with Singapore track and reunion of the happy family. Anshuman, Pakhi, Ayan, Anuja, Lavanya, Girish - all were united. The end. May be Lofe OK did not have any other show so they decided to drag this one recreating a repeat storyline with new male lead. Utter nonsense.
