Zarina Wahab to play Neelam Kataria in Crime Patrol Sansani..

In its new avatar as Crime Patrol Sansani, Crime Patrol on Sony will investigate some of India's high profile real life crimes like the Jessica Lal murder case, Rizwanur Honor killing in Kolkata, the murder of Scarlett Keeling in Goa, Nitish Katara murder and other such cases.

'Crime Patrol Sansani', will now be aired every Monday – Thursday at 10:30pm-11.00pm on Sony Entertainment Television. Given the fact that the focus will now be on the cases that were for a long time discussed in the media, the ones which have captured the entire nation's interest. Many of well renowned television and Hindi films actors and actresses will be making cameos in the dramatized version of the cases.

The first episode of Crime Patrol Sansani which will be aired on May 3, 2010 probes into the murder case of Nitish Katara and focuses on Neelam Kataria's fight for justice. Yesteryear's Bollywood actress and prominent television artist, Zarina Wahab is all set to do a cameo as she essays the role of 'Neelam Kataria', mother of Nitish Katara.  

Talking about her role as 'Neelam Katara', Zarina Wahab said, "I am happy to be part of Crime Patrol Sansani, where I portray the role of Neelam Kataria, mother of Nitish Kataria. This special episode will investigate and will go deep into the crux of Nitish Katara murder case and will establish some staggering reality. It will bring to light the element and motive behind the murder which involved the high profile Vikas Yadav, son of influential politician, D P Yadav. I think this is one show that presents a realistic analysis of the most appalling and malicious real life crimes in a sensitive and captivating manner to its viewers."
