Shikha Singh in Boogie Woogie

Shikha Singh who was praised for her powerful portrayal of Amba in Colors TV, Naa Aana Is Desh Laado is now all set to shake her leg on the platform of Sony TV's popular talent hunt show Boogie Woogie Kids Champion.

Tellybuzz had recently reported that the celebrity special of Boogie Woogie that will be aired on 4th and 5th of August will see performances coming from Neha Marda, Ashita Dhawan, Vikrant Massey, Mouni Roy, Jasveer Kaur.

The latest buzz is that Shikha Singh and Krishna Abhishek will also be part of this special episode.

Talking about her experience being on Boogie Woogie Shikha said, "It was a great opportunity to be a part of Boogie Woogie family. I danced with the girl Prajakta and she is an amazing dancer we initially had difficulty adjusting the height differences between us but she coped with it very well. We performed on the number 'Baija Baija' from the movie Love Aaj Kal.

Asked Shikha whether Amba would return to Ladoo and she quickly said, "I have been getting mails from fans asking the same question and I always tell them that they need to direct this to the channel and production house."

After her portrayal of a character as strong as Amba, Shikha wants to take up something equally challenging, "Viewers have appreciated me as Amba and after playing her I want to take up role that suit my persona."

The celebrity episode on Boogie Woogie would be aired the coming weekend.
