Raunak and Panna's track to open up in Genda Phool

Star Plus' Sasural Genda Phool will now see the track of Panna (Moon Banerjee) and Raunak (Shailesh Gulabani) opening up.

We have seen Panna, the daughter of the Kashyap family to be a person who is always in her bubbly mood when she comes to her maayka. It will now be revealed that she has her own troubles in her sasuraal.

Our source tells us, "This particular track will open up with the entry of Raunak's parents. They are being played by noted actor Saurabh Dubey (who is presently seen playing the role of Nana Bhopatkar in Zee TV's Jhansi Ki Rani) and Kanika Dang. The family basically belongs to the middle class stature, but the sudden rise in Raunak's professional status has changed his mother. She is the dominating personality in the house, and hates Panna for the fact that she comes from a middle class family. The two ladies always have clashes related to the lifestyle. Raunak's father on the other hand, is a very simple and quiet person who has a soft corner for his bahu, yet is helpless. Raunak even though loves Panna, does not get into the finer details of the fights between his wife and mother. He is into his own world".

The irony is that, while in the Kashyap family the elder ladies treat their bahus with so much care and affection, their own daughter Panna is subjected to taunts at her sasuraal. This will in a way show that everything depends on how the woman manages a house; she can either makes it or break it. 

When contacted, Saurabh Dubey confirmed his entry in the show and said, "Yes, I am playing Raunak's father. I took up Sasural Genda Phool as it is a show which stands out from the rest. I have started shoot. I play the father who is a jolly good fellow, who fears the wife who is dominating in nature. The wife has this show-off attitude and enjoys partying. She has clashes with her daughter-in-law".

Elaborating on the track ahead, Shailesh Gulabani aka Raunak said, "Raunak loves Panna a lot. In fact, theirs is a love marriage. But his mother hates Panna as she comes from a lower class, when compared to the lifestyle they live in".

Our source further narrates, "Even though Panna has lots of problems at her house hold, she does not reveal anything to her family".

We hear that a new set is being erected beside the Kashyap house, and this will be the comparatively rich abode of the Raunak family.

The track of Raunak and Panna will kick start from coming week.
