Rishton Se Badi Pratha gets its main cast

Colors' TV upcoming show Rishton Se Badi Pratha jointly produced by Spellbound Productions and Walkwater Productions has finally found its principle cast.

As we know, the show is set-up in UP and will deal with an issue of Honor killing.

After an extensive search the channel and production house have now zeroed in on the lead cast of the show.

We hear that Shalini Chandran, who earlier played one of the leads in Zee TV's Hamari Betiyoon Ka Vivaah, makes a comeback to TV with Pratha. Playing her love interest will be Gaurav Chaudhary of Do Saheliyan fame.

A little birdie tells us, "Nimay Bali plays father to the male lead. Zed Khan who was last seen in Agnipareeksha Jeevan Ki Ganga will play the elder brother of the male lead. He will have an aggressive personality and will be at loggerhead with the female lead's brother, played by Faisal Raza Khan. Seema Pandey plays the mother of the female lead."

We hear that the channel plans to shoot the promo tomorrow, and will go on floor on Oct. 3.

When contacted, Shalini Chandran refused to comment.

Gaurav Chaudhary told us, "I have just given an audition and I am waiting for the result."

Zeb Khan confirmed that he is part of the show, but refused to divulge detail.

Our repeated attempts to get in touch with Producer Pearl Grey were futile, as she did not respond.

The show is expected to launch in the last week of October.

I remember Shalini from Humari betiyon ka vivah. Used to love that show.Interesting cast. Might check it out

zeb is very handsome, i sw him in the 15august shw on colors. i also saw afew epi. of ganga , though i watched all of JAI SHRI KRISHNA, i cud nt recall that he is the same actor. i lved him in krishna, and wud lov to see him in pratha, best wishes.

I moved in Lokhandwala a year back and Zeb has been my neighbor since then. He comes across as a pure gentleman and carry's a very good relationship with the entire neighbor's on the floor.
Generally whenever you see a person from television industry, they come with lot of attitude as they come on TV but when I came across Zeb, he seems to be very polite and friendly person.
Zeb has a great personality and will do very well in acting career cos I have seen his performances in Jai Shri Krishna and Ganga
Wish you luck and success for the new assignment. You are best suited for this role.
Will definitely watch this show only because of you.

Zeb ur allwayz doing superb nd excelent work... bcoz i knw u vry much since long time ago well Zeb jo nasha hai aapke ander acting ka who din dugna badta jaa raha hai or zeb aapka Krishan bhi amazing gaya or uske baad aapka Meera bhi RANA SANGA kya dumdaar roll tha es rool mein mujhe puri umeend hai ki aap es subject ko bakhubi nebaayenge kyunki aapne kuh na kuch alag he sooch hoga .. I have first seen zeb in serial Krishna as Nand ji father of Lord Krishna he appeared cute and soft natured.... I felt he suits soft roles much better but .... I have seen him in roles with negative shades that made me to feel that he could make any role look perfectly suitable to him .... now need to watch him in the new serial wish he carries the role with same ease and comfort and gets good name.... keep going Zeb....
