Jyoti to have a graceful exit..

Imagine's long running show Jyoti will be the next fiction show to bid adieu..

Jyoti which is one of Imagine's long-running and successful shows will soon be gearing up for a logical conclusion. The show which has been very popular for its realistic characters and situations will apparently be making way for Aarakshan, the new offbeat show on the channel.

Our source tells us, "Jyoti has had a good run and has reaped a lot of success for the channel. As it is said, all good things have to come to an end, and with lots of shows in the pipeline, Jyoti along with Bandini, being the oldest of the lot automatically fall in danger zone. But the production house and channel are happy with the proceedings, and have a satisfied approach when it comes to the run of Jyoti".

In a phase where lots of shows like Jamunia, Kashi, Devi etc were abruptly ousted by the channel, Jyoti and Bandini get the credit for doing well for a long time.

Our source elaborates, "Jyoti will be the first to get a graceful exit, and this will happen in the last week of November or early December. Aarakshan is the show that will replace Jyoti. Meanwhile, Bandini still remains under the scanner and will be the next show to bid adieu. However, the other new shows on the channel will take a while to launch, and Bandini will continue till their next show is ready".

When contacted, Sarwar Ahuja though dismissed the news saying, "I am hearing about Jyoti's probable ending only thro' you. I am not aware of such a development".

We tried contacting Producer Sunjoy Wadhwa, but he remained unavailable for comment.

hey BANDINIANS and JYOTI FANS plzzzzzzzzzzzzz dont criticize any show...a fan should prove his or her loyalty by supporting uts fav...by critsizing others or their favs shows your weakness...so plzzzzz stick to supporting only...

anyways i adore Bandini as it depicts the colors of rural India and i am living in a small village myself so can really link with it....also the way each and every char has been potrayed is just awesome....the accent...the dialogues....acting....just awesome...
and far as acting is considered Aasiya is a budding actress ...she was just 17 when she came to the telly world...bt still she managed to do a great job...it was coz of her grace that the show was imagines tpo show for 2 yrs

seriously i dunno why people are fighting here regarding jyoti and bandini. both are unique in their own self. pls dont criticise shows.
anyways i wuld i really adore jyoti coz it actually portrays a strong woman unlike other shows were women are shown as weak. jyoti pulls off a brave face and fights her way through life despite difficulties and that how a woman shuld be-fighting for her rights and humanity. A grand salute to jyoti and i hope in the future too we will get shows like this where the woman is portrayed as strong and determined ready to face the society. will really miss the show

jyoti should end ASAP. Bandini is an awesome show and will soon be back on track. IMAGINE has shown wise judgement in this matter. Happy to see end of that jyoti crap

yup! thr is no comparison b/w jyoti n bandini.....bandini is such a crap for which they r ending the great show 'jyoti'....n i agree dat ronit is a fab. actor..but u can't say that other actors r nothing in front of him....i mean u can see Sneha, Aamir n sarwar...such brilliant n talented actors they r.......

there is no comparison in bandini and jyoti as bandini has Ronit Roy whose acting is far far superior to anyone else's on tv. Those jyoti characters cant even come close its a joke to even compare...lol
