Aarya Kumar to play lead in Aarakshan..

The promo of Aarakshan, the new show on Imagine which focuses on the reservation quota that is prevalent in the country has hit the television screen, and the channel is hoping that this show turns out to be a biggie in terms of concept for the channel!!

We give you information on the male lead now!! Aarya Kumar who essayed the negative role of Mahesh in Imagine's Sarvagunn Sampanna has been roped in to play the challenging role of the male lead.

Our source informs us, "Aarya Kumar who played the role of the rapist in Sarvagunn Sampanna will play a youngster from the Dalit class while Pariva essays the role of a girl from the upper class".

When contacted, Aarya confirmed the news to TellyBuzz saying, "This role is a contrast when compared to the negative role I essayed in Sarvagunn. I am happy to have got this role, and am eagerly looking forward to the launch of the show. We have recently shot for the promo".

The unit is presently in Bhopal, shooting for their first outdoor shoot. The show is produced by Ravindra Gautam and Keval Sethi along with Writer turned Producer, Kamal Pandey.

Rahoul Lohani and Muni Jha also play vital roles in the show.

The show is expected to replace Jyoti in either the last week of November or first week of December.
